Very well said. I think people forget these are just kids or not, others just like to stir the pot. These young men have nothing to be ashamed about, this setback will only make them stronger in the future and in life.

Congrats Dayton On a fine Season, These 4 young men have nothing to be ashamed of. There will be better times ahead for these young men. As for all the people saying they cheated is just plain stupid, and it only shows your personal shortcomings.

I agree lamar had some pretty decent teams in the 70s. I can remember going to the games and they would only have around 10 or 11 thousand people at the game. I would love to see the people get out and support the program with sellouts year after year.

As a kid growing up in SE Texas my favorite memories were of my Dad taking me to Lamar to watch Football games. I sure hope they get a football team.

Since you seem to be so close to the SLC program, I have one question It has been reported that the new coach hired a new DC he tried to put in a new defense, the parents wanted to stay with the old system and they put pressure on the DC. So he resigned and went back to Highland Park Who is running the program the parents or the coaches?

Stephenville played a playoff game there a couple of years ago, When we walked into their stadium,we were amazed they have a pro shop and heaters that heat under the stands. But at 660.00 for tickets they should have valet parking and waiter service. :
