I remember Hebert ranked #1 in 77 and Silsbee ranked in top 10 Silsbee went down to Bmt and shocked Hebert 13-7 Tigers eventually lost in semi final to Dickinson.....Great years Great times

2 teams are enough. 3 is watered down with teams that weren't good enough to come in 1st or 2nd now you are rewarded for 3rd place, its stupid.

It is only a scrimmage game do not get to excited. : : Wow only lost 3 starters from last year, what was Lumbertons record in district last year,well maybe you should get excited over a scrimmage game. ;D ;D

Coach Bryant has put years into his profession, his dedication, passion, and knowledge of the game deserves respect. This sounds like what we are going through up here in Stephenville.Up here if you are not playing football you are a second class citizen, and it is a shame because football is not everyones sport.

Coach Bryant must be doing something right, his team is still in the playoffs where as alot of other teams are sitting at home this time of year. I do not know the coach or have a vested interest but a person that teaches or coaches the kids of today deserve our respect.

I hope this kid stays healthy, he has a chance to be something special. I just love the way this kid plays the game.

Silsbee has a very nice field also Lufkins turf field is very good

add one more to the retired list J R Richards before he had a stroke he was one of the most physically dominating pitchers I ever saw. no telling how good he would have been.

Both will get in Biggio 1st ballot, Bagwell will also get in maybe not on 1st ballot. These guys have done so much for the Astros that you can't mention one without the other.
