Kountze since 2015 2-8 3-7 1-7 1-9 Currently 1-7 Just curious how quickly things are expected to change. They suspended 10 players (seniors) for 1 game, because of behavior. Looks like #2 is gone, and they lost their JV. Change takes time, especially when you've been bad for so long. Just my opinion.

At the moment Defense Coordinator for another 2A school that had a decent year, I've been to Jerry's world and not just too watch.

According to that article the pay is 65k at a 2a school. If nobody wants the job I'll take it. If you're from West Hardin and need an AD contact me.

Congrats to H-F players that made this list. It is amazing HOWE much a team can change in one season. Just have to have the right people around.

Don't sleep on HF, They lost to Silsbee by a point and WOS only beat them by 3. I think this game is going to be a lot closer then people think. I'm rooting for an upset this week. GO HORNS!!!

What a Great game, HF has had a huge turnaround since last year, SomeHOWE, they did it with the same kids from last year minus the seniors. Keep it going.

It is amazing to me what can happen with some personnel change. Same group of kids as last year minus seniors and they are firing on all cylinders. Wonder HOWE it would have went down if staff that is there now was there for that group of seniors last year. My guess is that H-F has a totally different year. I think this will be a good game and if the Horns can put it all together they WILL come out on top no doubt!!!

Let me rephrase my opening remark. Had anybody but the guy that someHOWE was the HC at HF been leading that group of athletes they would have gone at least 2 rounds deep this past season. With that I think 7 on 7 is good for a new AD to come in and build a relationship with the kids and see what he has to work with in a competition setting.

Just wondering how you go from making the playoffs the 2 years prior to the Jehling regime, to 3-16. Those seniors have played together since they were Freshmen and all know what it takes to make it to the playoffs. Please let me know what I am missing? HF facilities are old and musty. Track looks like it been through every hurricane since Texas became a state. They need to rename the football field, Ant Hill Stadium.

Rumor is another school in Jefferson County may be open soon.

Looks like it was a close game. Good things going on in HF!!! Just curious what's going on there? Football not good with a huge senior class that went to the playoffs freshman and sophomore years, basketball not starting off good and looks like low numbers. Word is kids are bailing. Wasn't too long ago H-F was the place to be.
