1.
I saw Coldspring early, Horns by 5.
Win it in 2, by 5 in each game.
 2. Prayers to Ethan, his Family and the Deweyville community from HJ.
 3. Yes, Silsbee is the team to beat. Silsbee and BC at BC ought to be a good one.
 4.   4:30 JV, 7:00 Varsity
 5. I'm not going to say which school or which "coach" said it but I have heard more than one High School Manager say "We are not coaches, we are mangers. If these kids want coaching, their parents need to invest in private lessons and get them on a summer team. This is High school ball, they should have gotten that in Little or Pony League". I agree with most of the statements here, too many defensive errors.
I just worry about them having to face Cleveland again in the playoffs.  They just can't get over that hurdle. ;D 8)
Cleveland will be a ghost of their former self for a couple of years.  HJ should be as strong or stronger next year as they were this year.  It's Silsbee's turn to have one of HJ's "down years", which means they'll compete for a district title and probably go several rounds deep in the playoffs.
Hmm? If the Who's Who List of coaches applying for the HF job is true, I wouldn't be so sure. Plus, HF's speed will nullify HJ's chances next year. Sorry HJ ;)
HAHAHAHAHAHA  Thats funny, I don't care who you are.
 7.
HJ scores from Friday?
Fridays scores, HJ beat Center 13-1, Lost to Cold Spring 7-2.

 9.
I think we should change the name of the basketball section to: SETXHJsports. They deserve it.
:o
 10. HJ down 11-5 last I heard. TOO MANY ERRORS! ???
 11. I'm thinking the only "RULE" would be, use some common sense.  ;) ;D
 12. Along with their 5 starters, Silsbee's bench has and will help pull them out. District, this year, belongs to Silsbee. Undefeated.
 13.

HJ by 18, what is the latest on Carr? :-\
Carr is out until at least next week and Anderson is now out for the season........he played all of 1 minute for the Hawks this year.  Good stat line though.......1 rebound and 1 steal!!!!!
Thanks, I saw Will in the BC game. One trip down the floor and back to the bench. It's bad enough to be hurt, but that is the only chance he will get his SENIOR year.
 14. OF came and played tough. Great game on both sides of the ball. GO HAWKS!
 15.

Numbers don't lie............... 16.
At the high school level I agree! At the middle school level I disagree. What's next 3rd graders? Little Dribbler? Travis is the head coach and his rules should stand. Oin high school!
I'm pretty sure they have a dress code at ALL levels of school, especiallyfor athletics. I'm an advocate of having the High School Coach/A.D. adressing these kind of issues at the Jr. High, even the Elem. levels. It sets the tone for things to come for these youngsters.
 17.
Guys here is how it is. The Silsbee team can go a strong 9-10 deep. You have the best player in the area in DC Stallworth and a top 10 player in Prentice Lane. I think most of the other positions are close to being even. When you sub and don't lose a beat, you are hard to beat. HJ is extremely talented. I would expect this game to be decided in the 4th quarter at the free throw line.
Great post BS, the free throw line will def. be a factor.
 18. How would you feel "as a coach" if you set a standard for your players and future players, only to be undermined because the Parents of a 12 year old kid think their kid is above your set standards? Just asking. :P
