Not that it means alot but please remember before you say that something CAN'T happen, that Lumberton beat the two teams that beat Big Ned and stopped Grogan enough to beat them. I know that this game can go either way but I would not Gaurantee a Win from either side.

Wow either could be a game of the week! One game could be the loss that sends a team to the basketball court, the other could help decided the district champion or at least the order they finish 2nd and 3rd. If I were a Dog fan I would not look past the Pi Rats. Junkie the livingston over Ned. was not really an upset, so dont break your arm patting yourself on the back. Either team could have won that game and either team could win this game between Vidor and Ned as well as either team could win central Livingston. I think all 4 teams are very close.

I could not agree more with some of the so called Pro Coached teams it is just if you can afford the fees if so then you have SELECT talent!!

We played in the first tourney to make at Ford this fall. It had a total of 6 teams LOL 11 & 12. I hear that alot of the teams are upset with the fact that just because the ONE in charge of tourneys wanted to go Nations that it was cut and dry. Also that the people in charge of the tourneys has teams that are playing in these same tourneys. Not saying they would get SPECIAL treatment but that is alot of the fear! We are going to Houston playing in USSA tourneys that have 6 to 12 teams in every age.

Great post I can tell you out there that this man speaks from his heart about the Fighting Cards. I had the pleasure of attending High Island with this Football fan and am proud of how he is working so hard to keep our Fighting Cards going. I dont live in HI anymore but still feel for the team when it has a bad year. Cardinal fan and I had the pleasure of being there in the 80's when the Fighting Cards were in the playoffs almost every year, keep cheering Cardinal fan I will be doing the same. Depending on Baseball schedule this week I may see you there!!!

They probably have equal or better talent than Lumberton. Ecspecially with a student body nearly 50% more than Lumberton's. Sometimes it comes down to the x's and O's and punching people in the nose. so is it your opinion that the coaching staff at PNG is that bad??I don't see it that way--regardless of student body size this is just an off year at PNG with respect to athletes----a lot of very good ones were lost to graduation I just dont believe that coach B forgot how to coach over at PNG. I couldnt tell you why they are not winning over there (i am not that smart) but I would have thought with the returning starters they have and with Wright running the ball they would have been better. If you go back and look most people thought that PNG would make a run for the playoffs!

I am sorry but spank or not STAR OR NOT a 16,17,18 yr old boy (or man in the 18 yr olds case) knows that forcing a girl CHEERLEADER or not DRINKING or not to have sex is wrong. I hate that this is going to ruin these young mens lives but it SHOULD because they have changed this young lady's life forever. I pray for all the families involved. I also hope and pray that all the young men and women in our area wake up and try not to put thier lives or futures in jeperody over sex,drugs or Drinking.

The Lumberton Off. Line. We over look them so often when giving out the game balls to Beard, Hanna, Asher ( against H F) and Hughes (against ozen) who dont get me wrong deserve all they get. I think some just forget who is making the holes and keeping the guys on def. off this group of ball carriers.

First of all hello old friend, I see my phone call got you on here and fired up LOL. Now second of all I got a email from WTB accusing me of talking bad about the Raider coaching staff and a player from the raiders. If he has told anyone else this he is telling untruths. I said on here after the VIDOR game we were out gameplanned and out coached in the second half. those that were at the game know what I am talking about. But its just my opinion and I also said I would take the Lumberton coaching staff over any in the district. as for the player in question I said without this young man playing the way he did in the 4th we may not beat Ozen and gave him a game ball. I did in another post say I thought another player was stronger and may be more experienced at a position but respected our coaches choice!!!! I in no way have talked bad about either just gave my opinion. So WTB grow up this is a chat forum!!

Dont expect the L-Train to look past png I dont have to remind the kids I know Coach C will do it but we have not beat those indians yet. This could be the year but dont expect png to just lay down. They are a good team with a stud of a running back and a good coaching staff. I hope all the cars are healthy for the Train, and that we show up and pack the new stadium. Good Luck to both teams. Great game tonight by both teams. Ozen is better than they were last year They just ran into a team at home that refused to lose on HC night. Now I would like to pass out a few game balls. We all know two of the studs that run the ball but tonight the Off. Line showed once again why those guys get the yards. Game ball to the Off. line. Now to that QB that every one said was so weak, if not for the way mr Hughes ran the ball in the 4th we may not win. I have looked Ryan in the eyes and told him that this team goes where he leads them like it or not, tonight he led them to the endzone!!!! Game Ball to Ryan. Now I agree with another post Hanna had some great punts that changed field position to the good for the L-Train Def. Game ball Hanna. For the most part a pretty clean game and Ozen had some classy kids, some got out of line but hey we have had a few of the L-Train's cars get off the track once or twice as well. GL Ozen

Wow lets see Lumberton beats Livingston and everyone wrote them off. The Pi Rats beat Lumberton and everyone wrote them off. The Pi Rats lose to OZEN and the Pi Rats are wrote off. Livingston beats PNG and BOOM livingston is a playoff team and PNG is wrote off. Lumberton beats Central and BOOM the L-Train is on track to the playoffs. Tell me if Big Ned beats Central are they no longer a playoff team?? What about PNG and the Pi Rats is the loser out and the winner in?? I said back in week one that I would not be suprised if the second place team in District has 2 L's by thier name. The Champ will prolly have at least one Loss. Every one still has to play at least one team that can beat them. My four teams are in no order. Ned Lum Liv Png But who knows it could be Lcm Oze Vid Cen

Roger just found out we play Baseball at 2 and 4 Saturday so I am not sure I will make it. I will be thinking about the FIGHTING CARDS though. Tell everyone that I would have loved to have been there but duty calls.

I agree and Dis-agree. I have watched both of these kids play for years. IMO I think Duvall is the better runner I think he runs the option great, with that said you cant argue with the success that Hughes has had in the past and present. Now the Vidor game!!!!!! When Vidor blitzed on every play we never made an adjustment so I agree with BigHouse I think we were out coached but I would take our staff over any other. Think back a year ago. REMEMBER the 8-7 score. If we go for 2 there and dont make it we lose and people question the call. Instead we go for 2 and make it and people say what a gutsy great call it was. I would like to see K D get the chance to run the ball more but I respect the Coaches and will back them forever. A year ago I said we had a great coaching staff and a great HC and people jumped on me because they said he had done nothing but win JV games. Well in the 2nd year I think people can see coach C has turned our team around. GOOD LUCK TO BOTH TEAMS FRIDAY!!!!!

I agree with LHS I am also Kin to this young man and it is funny because he is a very quite modest young man. What most don't know he is prolly just as talented on the baseball field. What to go AC we are all proud of you, Davey loves to tell people that AC is his cousin so keep being a great roll model.

Great game Congrats to my Raiders. I will say the same thing I said last year, from the stands it once again looked like the kids from Central were very classy. By the way Us real fans dont need or expect Congrats or Respect from other teams fans till we are in the Playoffs. This district may go to anyone at this point!!

Luv ya Blue, I still love your signature "Vidor Finally Beat Us," but again it makes absolutely no sense. Vidor has a .714 winning percentage against Lumberton. In 14 meetings we have beat yall 10 times. Face it, Vidor owns Lumberton. As do a lot of teams.. I am a RAIDER Fan but lets remember L-Town has not been a great team, for some time (One Playoff Trip). So Most teams that have played the Raiders for years hold a Better Win-Loss record against them.
