I just hate tournaments! Lol. Pool play kills us. 6 games in 3 days doesn’t work to good for a team of 7 players! Lol. What ever happened to just good ol bracket style?

Great showing on first day - EF is always good and Chapel Hill is #2 in the state 3A - think they are 17-0 on the season. Keep representing SETX for us!! Torn ACL - Hate to hear that for ya'll. We had our second leading scorer go down with knee injury against Chireno - and just got MRI results back this week - were expecting torn ACL too but had better news - stretched ligaments and bruised - expected to back for us about the time we begin district.

63-40 over Silsbee shows some strength. I am not familiar with the other teams they have played. Kinda thought Clements and Harker Heights might have been pretty good. I felt United should of been ranked pre-season top 25 - but I still feel TABC snubs SETX. It's hard to beat a team that warrants getting into the top 25 when they are all out in West Texas or the Metro Plex. But as we all know - polls don't = championships either.... I just want to see SETX teams get more coverage and more respect. I am going to try and come see some of the games in Livingston this Saturday.

Dang - almost could of been a rubber match.... Kelly cancel? We have them on the schedule next week.

Too much turnover in coaching girls basketball - we need coaches that will stay and invest in programs - and communities and AD's that will support that. Fortunately - I feel we have that here in Jasper and I am looking forward to our future!

It is just typical girls basketball stuff - I scheduled with the Coach that was there last year - no communication between her and the new coach - I looked back and my emails in September trying to confirm were unanswered.... He says he didn't have us on the schedule and is playing at Newton.
