They’ve definitely played to that mark recently and he’ll certainly add experience to the team. They’ve got 3 weeks of practice/play in so far (with no one having played year round and several without varsity or JV experience). Because of that I think the best measure of the team will be in Jan/Feb. (hopefully they’ll improve enough for another playoff run).

Still have 2 starters out and were only 1 for 21 from 3 pt. line. All pretty good looks but nothing fell and was compounded by SP doing a good job on the boards. At least it wasn't a district game.....

Actually, Dwight was the only new face and he got about 10-12 min in. Team is starting to understand (and execute) roles & responsibilities. I'm VERY impressed with the head coach and assistant. They care about the kids and their development. Yes, post is Dwight Johnson. Guard missing was Forest Holifield. Other starting guard Andrew Potter tore ACL in May and you can tell he's a little timid. Add in another new head coach (3rd in 4 yrs) and you definitely up the time needed for learning/adjustments. It's sometimes painful to watch the process but I always look forward to the end result.

Legacy was missing starting post and starting guard. Super rusty was probably being polite....... Anyway, a good thumping should build some character. Last 4 years we've had some good character building thru December but manage to get it together by district.
