no way HJ could compete in this district they dont have the depth central, ozen, nederland, and livingston would all win both times against HJ and some of the other teams would split with them HJ just isnt as good as they have been in the past and even the year that they won state they would have had a tough time making the playoffs in this district

WH by 8 at home they were up pretty much the whole game at HD and lost it with about 4 min left. it might be alot closer if they let elliot get some open looks because he played pretty banged up when they played at HD

no way zeek silsbee might would have a chance at the playoffs but no way would HJ make it they might have a few close ones but i just dont see them having the depth to compete with the 4A in this area

i agree ozen is under achieving this year i don't know if it was the loss of their leader or the attitude of the players but i believe that they are just as talented as they were last year of even the year before when they made it to state but they don't seem to have that killer instict like years past

are you kidding me its one thing to be a die hard fan but you have to be realistic

what about Big Sandy i know they started off the year kind of rocky but as of late it seems like they have really steped up their game?

Hardin has the best shot at winning the district they have lots of talent returning but they are going to miss stelly not just his ability but his leadership someone will have to fill his spot in that category

Now that playoff time is right around the corner which teams in SETX have the best chances of representing the area in Austin?

WH needs this game more than SP that being said ill pick them by 2

that is one thing that i have noticed a lot with the officiating in the 1 A games opposed to the larger classifications it seems like in these small school games they call every little thing but in the larger classifications they seem to let the kids play more and don't call the little ticky tac fouls that don't influence the game in any way

if the big kid #12 is still out i can see HD winning this one in a close one they always shoot very well at home

that's good to hear but a sprain can take a long time to get 100% healthy and they will need him for the playoffs is he going to play or take a week or two to get completely healthy?

im sure they will be the same refs that ref all these 1a games i have seen three different 1A games this year with different teams and in all three games they had the same refs

i have also herd that he was going to Sam Houston on a football scholarship

i think the biggest x factor in this game is if silsbee lets the fans get in their heads if they can handle the environment and not get to pumped up and just play their game silsbee should take this one by double digits
