Jaydon Daigle from Bob Hope School is headed to Ranger Junior College.

This is my last week at Bob Hope School, as I am making my way back to Brenham and will be coaching at 1A Dime Box. However I saw this article in the Enterprise yesterday. [Hidden Content] I hope Chris does well at Kelly in his senior year. He's a great kid, super respectful, and he can really make it happen on the floor. According to the article it looks like Kelly is getting a big underneath too, they should be hard to handle!

I actually coached with the Scarborough head coach that made the playoffs without winning a game while I was at Westbury. He was an excellent guy (he played DB for Notre Dame under Lou Holtz). That was just a bad deal for those kids, they were trying to just learn the basics and hope to compete and if I am not mistaken didn't they get thrown into a playoff game with WOS?

I would suspect Garth from PNG is going to have a stand out season.

He just got an offer from Alabama as well. He's an excellent young man and these offers are well deserved!

And only 21 years old! We are real proud of what Coach Reyes accomplished this year!

Heartbreaking game but my hats off to Hargrave. Excellent team with a very classy coach. I hope they represent SETX well at the regional tournament next week!!

The coach at The Woodlands. That's the rumor floating around back at home. Apparently he lives in Brenham and was commuting to the Woodlands. He resigned in January.

I was shocked by this one. Coach West turned football around in my hometown. He was always very helpful when I was the head coach at Brenham Christian. He had a three state championship appearances, in 02 vs. Denton Ryan and in 09 and 14 vs. Aledo, but just couldn't get over the hump. He also had a few guys that played NFL ball, like Malcolm Brown for the Patriots and Limas Sweed for Pittsburgh. He also hired my soccer coach from Bob Hope last year lol. I think he left a last impression on that program and they should pull some strong applicants for sure.

Bob Hope moves to 5-1 in district.

Bob Hope wins 4-2. Carlos De La Rosa had two goals, Gerardo Figueroa had one, and Ricky Perez had one. We are now 4-1 in district.

True story. When I was running backs coach at Westbury, the level of competition was poor. Outside of Lamar and Bellaire, and occasionally Reagan aka Heights, HISD is pretty rough.

Coached my first softball game tonight and it was a fun one. Our girls picked up the win over Central 19-4 in 3 innings. Viviana Gutierrez had 4 strikeouts and a 2 run rbi double. It was an excellent team game for the Lady Eagles!
