  16. You might not want to use the colored balls like Nederland, they seem to be slippery.
  17. Rykerz the ball is dead if never touched by the defense, the offense can't recover and run it in. The game is over if they stay away from the ball. Remember Leon Lett against the Dolphins?
  18. That's on the coach. Why are the 2 kids even back there?
  19. It seemed to me that Nederland's defensive game plan was to stop Harmon. They did a pretty good job of it except for a long run before half, then at the very end of the game he got some yards. Holding one of the best RB's in the district to 3.7 yards a carry is pretty good. Doty absolutely torched the Dogs on the deep balls. He had some open receivers, but also made some great throws into tight coverage. The kid is pretty accurate down the field. Nederland didn't get much pressure on him, but seemed to be focused on Harmon more than pass rushing. Pick your poison with PN-G. Try to stop Doty through the air or Harmon on the ground. Hard to do both!

  21. Cardenas played the whole 2nd half at LB with a bum ankle. Didn't go back in on offense.
  22. Proud, your school song was played after Nederland's. And yes they booed also, returning the favor.
  23. The play calling was good for Ned in the 1st half. They totally abandoned the run in the 2nd half.
  24. I see them as the 5th place team in this district. I know I'll get hammered for saying that, but Central, Lum, Liv, and Vidor are all better right now. Hopefully PNG improves every week and gets in the playoffs.
