5.
Anyone know what kind of seating they have in WOS?  Just wondering if I should bring stadium chairs or lawn chairs.
Just make sure to bring your phone charger.  :D
6. Blake Griffin just dunked over a car!!
7. Mcgee & Griffin onto the finals.  McGee has been the most impressive so far.
8. Blake Griffin with a nice 360
9. McGee dunking in 2 different goals was impressive.  I hate that they give them 2 min and as many chances as they want to make the dunks.  It takes away from the excitement.
10.

Great 10 day stretch for the horns!  Double-digit wins vs. #11 aTm, @ #2 Kansas, @ Okie Lt, and vs. #13 Mizzou!  They're 6-0 in the Big XII for the first time in school history, and they're already through the meat of their schedule.  They have a big game in College Station on Monday, and after that, they finish conference play against 9 unranked teams.  If they can beat the Ags monday (who are coming off an embarassing loss to Nebraska), they have a fairly reasonable shot at a 16-0 conference record going into the Big XII tourney.
Nebraska was favored to win the game by 2.5 points at home, so I don't see how the loss was that embarrassing.  Nebraska is 15-5 and should make the tourney.  Still A&M didn't come to play and it showed.  They will have to play much better tomorrow against tu to have a chance.
Favored, smavored.  Nebraska's pretty decent, but they've played an awful schedule this year.  Here's a list of all of the quality teams they've played this year: Vandy, Davidson (i'm stretching here), Mizzou, Kansas, and aTm.  They lost 4 of those 5.  They also lost to a pretty weak TT team.  Regardless of the line, this wasn't a good loss for the Ags.
I defended A&M's "embarrasing" loss on the road to Nebraska.  Bullets, it looked like Nebraska proved me right today.   :D
11. Here is his what the Cards have payed him over the years, including his stats in his first 3 years which he was grossly underpaid.  He deserves ARod money, but I think 10 years is too long unless he finds the Barry Bonds fountain of youth.  ;) I wonder if Brad Lidge thinks he should get paid?  ;D Salary History Year Salary (US $)    2001 $200,000    .329 with 37 homeruns and 130 RBI 2002 $600,000    .314 with 34 homers and 127 RBI  2003 $900,000    .359 with 43 homeruns and 124 RBIs 2004 $7,000,000    2005 $11,000,000  2006 $14,000,000  2007 *$12,937,813 2008 $13,870,949 2009 $14,427,326 2010 $14,595,953
12. Nederland leads OF either 8 or 9 to 0.  I lost count.
13. OSU and Kansas still only have 1 loss and I think both probably stay ahead of tu.  I do think Texas is playing better than anyone in the country right now.
14. No. 13 Wisconsin tops No. 1 Ohio State [Hidden Content]

17.
I.M.O. Abundance of above average talent makes you an above average team.Great teams almost always have at least two great pitchers.Nederland does not have the shut down pitchers it has had for the last two years. There will be a lot more balls put in play that might  expose a inexperienced outfield IMO.Also Nederlands first pitcher was 1.6 to 1.7 to the plate with runners at first.Teams like P.N.G. with good team speed will have a field day on the bases if he does not get quicker to the plate. The Dogs coaching staff ,which is a good one, will have its hands full finding the best outfield combination to prove me wrong in my above statement.I hope they do! Go Dogs!
No team in the area has a true "shut down" pitcher, at least not yet.  Bellow, Laird, Hester, Hicks, Statum etc. are all playing in college.  The best pitcher returning is probably Stone and he didn't throw many innings last year until the playoffs.  It's time for the new guys to step up and make names for themselves like the ones I mentioned above. 20-4a should be wide open this year.  Whatever team's young pitchers step up, has the best shot at win the district title.
18. When I left in the 4th It was 5-1 BC
19. Zock with a 2 run HR.  5-0 BC mid 2
20. BC gets 3 in the 1st on a few Bulldog errors.
21.
Nederland and PNG both open with 21-3A playoff teams from last year. Nederland travels to West Orange-Stark and PNG will host Bridge City Feb 22.
Admin,  No BC vs. Nederland games this year?  Usually they play a few times in pre-district and the Bulldog Classic.  I guess with no Bulldog Classic this year(for the 1st time in 40+ years  >:( ) they don't play each other at all.  These were usually some pretty competitive games.
