My rant wasn't just about this game, it was about the whole board and its increase of calling refs and cities cheaters. I've done football officiating before and was blown away on how difficult it was compared to what I thought it was going be like. I still don't believe these men, especially now that they come from out of town are truly trying to cheat anybody. That might not be any good and make terrible calls but that's way of the game and I know it sucks.

This by far is the worst year I have ever seen the complaining, whining and blaming officials on this site. I had coach tell me one time, that if you let an official determine the outcome of the game then you didn't deserve to win because you didn't do enough during the game to give him that opportunity. I truly don't believe these grown men are cheating and making sure a certain team win. If you think that then I think this is a different issue at hand and its not football.

I'm a big fan of Jeff Mathews, I think he has built a great program at Vidor and his kids always play tough. The situation in high school football sometimes, is some teams just have another teams number. I went all the way back to 1994 and the overall record is 19-4 in PNGs favor. In those years Vidor was favored several times but couldn't get the victory. Kind of like how we fill every time we play WOS. I'm not saying Vidor cant beat PNG, its why we play the game, but until history changes I'm going to have to go with the Indians. PNG - 42 VID - 28

No doubt kid showed a lot of heart, heck the whole titan team did. It comes down to game management and having TOs for these situations.

You do realize that a wet field especially a grass one is a speed equalizer. I've know that since I was a little kid

Lets be honest , yall played PAM on wet grass field. I have a feeling it would have been a different outcome on a dry turf field or even dry grass field.
