I think it's a little crazy for a school district to spend that kind of money on a football stadium for one school.  But, it wouldn't surprise me if they fill the entire 18,000 seats on game days.  Their band has nearly 700 members and actually requires 1,000 seats with the equipment.  The halftime sight alone is worth catching a game.  I would think that Allen will be a powerhouse for years to come, unless they eventually split the school into two.
Allen IMO is on the verge of being like Plano.
 2. Melo hit 10 3s and had 41 pts. Overall, i've never seen any USA bball team do what they did today, not even the Dream Team.  :o

I think the dogs will be the team to beat in 20-4A this year, but state champions? COME ON MAN!!!! Unless y'all were hiding some big time offensive weapons from the world last season, the dogs won't make it past the third round. Just my "two cents".  ;D
#24
if you talking bout that RB yall had better have a great OL cause he will get keyed on.

Jeff Spikes from Burkeville was a beast too. 3,000+ yards as a senior and 7,500+ in his career. T.J. Walker from Hull-Daisetta was a great pure running back as well. Rushed for over 1,600 yards as a sophomore, tore his ACL the first game of his junior year and bounced back to have a monster 2,000 yard season as a senior.
where is T.J.??
Last I'd heard T.J. is still around the HD/Raywood/Liberty area. He never got his grades right to go play college ball. He made All-State at running back as a senior. Two years after he graduated T.J. hopped on a train in Beaumont heading towards Liberty because he didn't have a ride home from a party one night. He jumped off in Raywood and when he did, his foot was nearly cut off by the train, and was later amputated after he was air lifted to Herman hospital. I saw him a couple years ago at Wal-Mart in Liberty...couldn't tell he had a prosthetic foot, same big smile, and looked like he could still line up at tailback. He had a some on and off field issues that he was never able to overcome as far as football is concerned. He was one heck of a running back though.
sad. he was a good one. good athlete, could hoop too.

It's funny that you started this post, a Steele fan thought I was one of you and asked if we were ready for our annual butt whooping...... ;D
You brought up PAM's 1(one)  lost to Steele against Ozens 6(SIX) to PAM. Losing to anyoine of these teams will show us we in for a long season. Our measuring tool in BMT is and always will be WB. We need to get our record on top vs WB. We owe them for the Micheals years and 47-15 in 2010.
What was the problems when PAM was getting smacked around in scrimmages and losing in the first 2 games?  Didn't yall make the playoffs one of those years?  Wouldn't that be considered success?
when has PAM started 0-2? i'll wait.....
The first 2 times that Memorial played Central in regular season games, they took a loss in 2008...  took another loss in 2009.  That was 0-2 at that point to Central.  One of those Memorial teams made the playoffs.  Was that considered an unsuccessfull season? (according to that memorial fan, when They lose to either Central or Ozen, it means they are having a down year.  ::)
::)
What?  Answer the question, my friend.  8)
do you not understand sarcasm?  ;)

Hmmmm i wonder what was the cause of that move.  ;)
Leander not being a state title contender maybe?? Just a thought.  ;)
which proves my point!
You really think LT coaches get in their cars and go get players? LOL  ok man. I dont think LT has to recruit, their recent state titles kinda speak for themselves, no need to commit UIL violations. but thats just my opinion.
Also, if you've ever been to west Austin you would understand why people want to live there.  Leander is basically a farm town and the LT area is, essentially, an oasis. Plus their team is kick a!$
;)
