  1. although i'm pretty positive that he cheated with steroids, i'm not going to believe it all the way until he fails a drug test. and that he has never done. and you know that he has probably been tested more than any other guy in the MLB!
  2. hopefully, i'm still trying to figure out what happened since his 30 homer season in 2004?!
  3. there went the astros only hope. hopefully wiggington can do what huff did last year in his first AB with the astros, which is hit a homerun. huff did last year in florida
  4. congrats to him! hit hit one off the very top of the wall in minnesota earlier this year, and got robbed of one a few years back in tampa bay. i was kinda scared that he would never get one...lol
  5. and i can go ahead and show me that thread that a player started saying wait till next year, cuz i can guarntee you again that a player didn't start it.. if there even is one
  6. and stunner, i am a player on the team, and i know for a FACT that not ONE of these posts are from players!!!!! coach creduer would kill us! and we never once disrespected our elders! all we said was to be quiet, because it is THERE mouths that give lumberton a bad name for talking crap, no the players. we appreciate the support, but lets not go over board saying that we will upset every team in the district.. k?
  7. i think he must have been cut, cause i've been trying to find some stats for this year, and there aren't any ..
  8. yeah that's also a possiblity
  9. agree with ruckdad all the way! name one player that the astros could've gotten better than craig biggio?! and don't throw any all-stars in there, because you KNOW the astros wouldn't have put up the money for anyone! they never have, that's why they lost carlos beltran. and don't even say a word about burke, he's been a HUGE bust this year.
  10. rockets, without injuries, will go FAR in the playoffs. you heard it first here! lol
  11. true. but did you see hudson that inning? he walked the first batter on 5 pitches, and then the second batter on 4 pitches. he was finished. true, they probably shouldn't have gone to wickman because he has been struggling. but he was right in taking hudson out..
  12. venom33, don't speak on that subject again. haha biggio and bagwell only carried the astros for 15 years. bagwell was injured, so it wasn't the astros fault that he left. and biggio still has 2 or 3 more years in him. BUT, they wouldn't be as good. that part you were right about, but the astros are probably going to lose the best player this organization has ever had at the end of this year. he was the LEADER of this team..
  13. i would be really pissed if my brother homered off me.. lol
  14. heck yeah! hope he does that in his final game!!
  15. oh and btw.. already bought my tickets for sept. 30th for his final game ;D bet those things go QUICK!
  16. he revealed to the astros that this '07 season will be his last.. :'(
  17. pence out 4-6 weeks, and BIGGIO IS RETIRING!!!! :'(
  18. real good pitcher too, it he could just straitn up his act..
  19. oh, and btw, soxprospects.com says that we should expect for buchholz to be called up on september 1 for the playoff run!
  20. faced him this year, boy has sum NASTY stuff! expect him to dominate at the JUCO level..
  21. buchholz also holds the record for most homeruns in a season at lumberton. 11
