PNG has many guys that can step to the plate and get the job done. Harrington, Benoit, Sweet, Todd, Spikes to name a few. Whoever PNG pitches, it will be a good thing. If PNG keeps hitting the ball and playing defense the way they have been, then it won't matter who is on the bump. Lott is a contender that should never be underestimated. PNG has hit him in the past but every year is a new one. Ozen coaches aren't crazy either...if Lott don't get it done then they have others to go to. PNG just has to go out and take care of their business... As far as LCM goes...Take one game at a time....

BH has a good group with Thamm, Silva and others...BC definitely has talent in Hicks.. PNG has several pitchers this year with Harrington throwing well, Todd and a young one named Chris Sweetenham. He is one to watch. Nederland has another young kid coming up too and his name is Kirby Bellow and he plays other positions too. Oh, Kane Benoit is one to watch too from PNG.

If the Sundevils are out of buna then they just moved their home base. Their instruction facility is out on Major before you get to 105. At least that is where it was last time I checked.

I think I agree with you there on the PNG side too. If it rains out then it will be looked at it as another needed day to rest before tourneys this weekend. It was a long weekend for all the clubs this past week and with district coming up quickly then it will be a welcome rest. I know that PNG used all the pitching they had this weekend too.

PNG gave up 12 hits to the Torrs. They also had 3 errors. PNG bats were sleeping but to give the credit where it belongs, Sulphur can play and they have always been able too. They are a good team and as good as PNG has played lately it wasn't visible last night.

Ya know, somebody has to play early and somebody has to play late. If no one did then there would be no baseball played at all. When teams travel then they get games that are not at the earliest time scheduled because of the travel time that is involved. That is how all tourneys are done. Heck Lufkin is traveling Thursday and have the 12 o'clock game against PNG. They don't exactly live next door. Lets all cut this stuff out and just play....
