I totally agree with this comment. Since Dave Rogers left the PA News the write ups have not been real accurate. I hope they get better. I have met the new reporter and he is a nice guy but homework is part of the business before writing articles.

Surely you are smart enough to figure out who started the "LCM/PNG game". I think I was crystal clear about that. It wasn't you, it was Todd. No one brought your name into this until you did. However lets not say Robi doesn't compare when he was pitch for pitch with you the whole game and not to mention we won. I don't know if you think that Skills 123 is the Harrington kid but it is not. I don't know who it is but not him. I know the Harrington kid and I can say this with certainty. Just wanted to clarify. I wanted to say Good luck to both teams tonight and we will be listening for updates. It is gonna be a barn burner for sure!!!

ERA's can be misleading if the lineups that are pitched against are weak. I can't say that in this district or others. ERA's are important.... As a pitcher, you have to have other skills to go along with throwing the ball because you have to be able to defend your area too.

we have been blessed to have the Allison boys become part of our lives and Mr. Allison is a very good man. He loves those boys unbelievably. He has been the one that took them everywhere and never missed anything as long as we have known them. Mr. Kenneth you and your family are in our prayers and PNG is there to back you in whatever you need.

I see....That would be Mitch Todd, VPride. He is nasty on the curve balls and he let the fastball stay up. He is very good and when one got away Trey took advantage of it. Don't happen often.

The official book showed Robi giving up two and Harrington six. It really doesn't matter, the point I was making is that Robi held his on against a good player. Was not putting Harrington down in any way. He is an awsome player all the way around.. Really enjoyed watching him play. I think that Robi can hold his own against just about anyone. He is very talented and will go a very long way in this game. Harrington had 11 K's and 3 hits according to the books (3 of them) that we saw. I guess we have to trust the books that we each saw. It all is a judgement on hits and errors in alot of cases anyway. Some of us just took it as if you were saying that the Harrington kid did not do a good enough job. We thought he and Robi did the jobs they were put there to do.

Robi is good but where did you see that he is better than the kid that pitched in the PNG game? I think they both did a great job.

If I am not mistaken, there are 8 games left in the season. Tuesday is the final a game of the first half. We start over on Friday.

Well, I know there were 3 hits given up by Harrington and I know that Harrington had a hit, Lynch a hit, Benoit an hit and not sure if anyone else did but that is not Harrington giving up twice as many hits. You can't count the balls put into play and then errors cause those are not calculated as hits.

I agree with that comment. Just because the pitcher may be four or five don't mean that they can't do the job when necessary. Being around the game enough, sometimes when the 1,2, or even 3 have been seen enough by the older players of the other teams then the most effective can sometimes be the other pitchers. IMO Playoffs may be a different matter tho.

I agree that this thread was to talk about the game between Ozen and Vidor. PNG was brought into this thread. PNG players and parents would like to send congrats to Ozen but when we do then we get beat up on some more for the actions at the Vidor game. It was a really bad night and bad examples of actions by fans. Get over it already and move on. Vidor has some great players and fans and so do the other teams. Believe it or not so does PNG!!!!!

I agree with Beaumont... You can have two but by the end of the season they are pretty worked over. Playoffs get tough. Three is good and four is even better. I also think the variety of 'studs' is necessary. I think you need hard throwers, finesse throwers, and at least one that can do it all.

Our family has friends on both sides of this game. I hope it is friendlier than the game between Vidor and PNG. LCM has deeper pitching and some heavy hitters. Vidor has some heavy hitters and if Robi pitches and is on then he is gonna be tough to hit. I pick LCM in a really close game. It is gonna be a one run difference that is for sure. Any idea who is pitching for LCM? Jones is hard to hit.

Wow!! Still feeling all that love?!? It has been almost a week and we are still talking about this? I would hope that one day soon this matter could be chalked up to lesson learned and move on with the rest of the season. I really think the point has been beaten to death and life should move ahead and let everyone focus on the upcoming games.
