Their very limited exposure, due to age, does not let them comprehend. And, When they do something like that, the rest of the world spreads the blame to all around them.       You don't know what a kid has or hasn't seen in their life to determine whether or not you think they know what they're doing. And I already know what Tomi Lahren stands for so if you think she nailed it perfectly then I already know what I need to know. Like I said, you compared a blatantly racist act with an act of protest. Until you speak with those kids about why they did it, you're merely assuming that they have no idea what they're doing.

    They were predicted to not win anything. They have won 2, and one of the against a 4A team. I think this says a lot for them.

    As there was no prior flag, they were not reviewing a violation, but they certainly were reviewing what each other saw, to see of there was a violation. If there was a chop block (and who knows if it was a true chop block), the flag should have been thrown when it was seen. Apparently, the official was not convinced it was a chop block. Either way, it was wrong to wait and throw the flag when the kicker is getting ready for the PAT, thus, icing the kicker. I will also point out, that if the refs are going to start letting the coaches on the sidelines, do their job for them, then we do not need the zebras.

    The reason I thought a WB / WOS matchup would have been nice, is because both of them were playing teams that should have been below their caliber, at least this year, anyway. WB should have as good or better talent than WOS, just from shear numbers.

    Maybe. People are so busy talking about the high power WOS Offense, I think they have forgot the tradition of the in your face defense that Cornel has always been famous for. It will be interesting, as WOS has not been tested by anyone except PNG in a scrimmage.

    I figured that thread was last weeks deal. There has been a game night since then, and things have changed, so I started a new thread. Didn't mean to step on anyone's toes.

    So, what are the predictions for the game next week? Seems as if Silsbee has improved dramatically since the first of the season. And, they will be playing at the Corral, but right now, there is a 50% chance of rain. Will Silsbee score? I think once.

    This is a strange year. As far back as I can remember, Dan, then Cornel, have stacked the deck in non-district games, getting as tough of teams, if not tougher, than any the team would see until the quarter finals. Didn't happen this year.

    They better take every game, one at a time. They do that, and play 4 quarters, they should be at the last game of the season. Like in 2015, and not let their minds drift, like in 2014.

    Baytown Lee just put an exclamation point behind the fact that they have a lot of progress to make.

    While many of the uninformed juveniles fail to understand the whole problem, they also fail to realize that their actions say something about their school and community, as a whole, when they do something like this. Just like BC took a hit, after the cartoon last week, now these players and community will take a backwards step in the eyes of the rest of us.
