I am proud of Evadale's season and I am a High Island mom!!!  ;D Rebels need to get out there and show them who they are - and that they are NOT district champs simply because our district "is the weakest in the state!" My sister went to a high school in Houston - Robert E. Lee High School. Can't remember exactly when, but someone trying to be "PC" back then, made the Lee "Generals" change their mascot, name and even colors!!! It was ridiculous.

They showed that in the High Island game where SEVEN starters were injured. The Chester boys played that entire game with NO fear and with all heart. Even after watching one of their teammates leave in Life Flight! By the way, I am not from Chester. I am actually a High Island mom, but have been in constant contact with a couple of Chester players. They are completely "bummed" the season was canceled.
