Who are you to tell someone not to live in the past? The dictator of mid-county? Last I checked, we live in America. Not mother Russia or North Korea. I can live in past, present, or future. Nederland has not had much basketball success in the past and like I said the game would be over at half and you know it. Be happy you played WB present day and lost by 3. If they would’ve lost by 3 in the 80s or 90s to WB or Lincoln it would be their equivalent to a state championship.

If they were in the same district as Lincoln in the 70s, 80s, or 90s then uhhhh ummm 🤣

Brian English was once on staff at West Brook. If we played Nederland or Sterling those games were over by halftime back then lol

I don’t like these closer games with Nederland or Sterling. In the 90s we would beat each of those teams by 40 but this isn’t the 90s apparently 🤣 Leave me and my Al Bundy stories alone

Need to learn more about CC Veterans Memorial. They are the Region 4 team that Region 3 winner would play in the state semis. They are undefeated and number 1 in the tabc poll. Have beat some decent teams but play in a weak district based on my assumption (never heard of any dominant CC teams in boys basketball. Ever)

Basketball has the D1 and D2 format for playoffs, mirroring football starting this year. How does that shake out for 19-5A district as of today?
