We've had two days in the weight room last Thursday and Friday and regular practices starting Monday. I'm sure the Broncos will be ready to play somebody Friday, now whether that somebody is Nederland or not is yet to be determined. I believe some schools are still having games that start back on the 11th. Let's hope we play, someone.

Since these games do not affect district standings, would they be made up or not normally. I can't remember this many cancellations ever.

Just got word Dayton will be closed all next week and will resume on 9/5.

Dayton is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

No doubt gonna be some good Texas High School Football shortly.

18 days away from the first scrimmage between Dayton and Friendswood. This will be a good test as to where we are and to where we need to get. As always Go 2017 Broncos!!!!!

If RJ went to Pam instead of png would he be happy. Geez Louise. Probably not. Sometimes you gotta call legit when it's legit. The kid is a legit QB. An acceptional athelete. And I'm sure he is going to PNG legally. Every year we have to prove residency in Dayton, I'm sure everyone else does too. I'm not gonna bad mouth him or PNG, I have always loved the sea of purple playoff games and if we get that matchup, I won't bow down and I know these Broncos won't. And if we draw Pam, well guess what, we ain't bowing down on that one either. There will be a winner and a looser and we will shock many these year. You can't worry about who chooses to go here or there or why they didn't go to your school. As far as we are concerned, I hear, we are gonna prepare for every opponent the same and not take anyone lightly, study film, work hard & put the time in to accomplish our goals, we can't control who goes where, who officiates where, who coaches where, who's black, who's white, who's Hispanic, who's Asian, or who's not. But what we can do is take everyone who is dedicated enough to play, and have our coach's coach the heck outta them, and get that drive built up and see where it takes them. We will be prepared for the 22-5a, no matter who it is, or the race they are. That's irrelevant, it's the 21st century.

I'm not saying he isn't an athelete at all, I seen that in 5 highlight reels.

He went one year there and is coming back a highly recruited athelete with 25 Fbs offers, if he had of stayed at kp I don't think he would have the opportunities an athelete at St. Pius does, therefore, not having near that amount.

I'll give you that, preparations will have to be made for sure. 21-5a has changed, you really can't take too many opponents lightly.

If he had stayed in kp, he wouldn't have 25 offers that's for sure. So what happened for him to come back. I don't know, seems fishy. One player won't make a team, but hats off to the kid, I watched the film on him, but there was a different environment over there, st.pius and kp, big difference.

Any updates?

A couple more backs I failed to mention is Pike and Martinez. Pike who saw action last season will be more than ready to pick up where he left off. And Martinez who played receiver last year will probably switch between the two positions this season.

21-5a has some talented receivers out there, so let's hear it. Dayton this year will have a variety of receivers for QB Nail. Playing slot, will be Williams and Ramirez. Wideouts Lovely and Torres will be more than ready this season. At about 6'7" and playing tight end, Orebo, will be a force to be reckon with.

The golden triangle talks about theirs, let's talk about ours. Dayton has Junior QB Aj Nail. 6'3,185 although his varsity play was limited to a couple scrimmages proved to be an exceptional passer and occasional rusher on JV going 9-1 on the season. Gaining 2 inches in height and about 20 lbs. since last season, he will be ready to battle in 21-5a to get back to playoffs which is our goal. Go Broncos!!!

Just hope the gate at the new school is open.
