I knew it was going to be a good game.  My son played against Evadale last year and Cypress this year.  Said they were two of the toughest teams he has played.  It must have been a good one.

They probably should have left it at two teams per district making the playoffs.  Then you get the best teams. But it also wansn't fair that HI and SP had to play schools with twice their enrollment every year.  This is more fair just needs a few tweeks.  Hey Roger whats up.  Hope High Island wins big this weekend.

I guess I just like both teams.  They play hard and are well coached.  But somebody has to win.

They will not beat them 63-8.  That is absurd and just down right crazy.  HD has a tought team and great fans. I hope they win this one but Lovelady is on a roll.  No prediction but Im pulling for HD.  Go get em Chissum.

Just thought I would add a little to the discussion.  I have nothing but respect for both teams.  All very positive comments.

The score will not be 54-0 or 35-7.  I think Evadale can win this game.  I have seen both teams play multiple times and they are both  very well coached and have alot of talent.  They are probably the two best coached teams I have seen in the last four years.  Cypress is very athletic on defense.  Much more so than anyone Evadale has played in the regular season over the past four years.  It will be a great test for them.  But I will also say that Cypress has never played a team full of head hunters like Evadale.  Maybe a team with 2-3, but not a team with eleven. My prediction. Cypress 16 and Evadale 7. They are really good at field goals and will find touchdowns difficult against Evadale.

So what about the Katy Faith West Burkville game was it like.

We will see how good Evadale is this week.  They will finally play someone and they better be ready to play.  Because Cypress beat KFW like a bunch of red headed step children.  They are big, fast and come to play with 50 on the sidelines. It will be a very good game. I hope Evadale wins, but it will be the best test for them this year before the playoffs.

Cant feel bad about losing to KFW.  They are a very good football team.  Just start practice this week and get ready for the playoffs.  You will be surprised how competitive Burkville will be with schools their own size.  My son played in district with you guys last year and he now plays against KFW and Cypress, the team playing Evadale next week.  These teams are very good.  Would be able to compete in 2A easily.  Keep your head up and play hard. I told everyone that the quarterback is a beast.  He is the Division I prospect not #94.

Once again.  The quarterback is their best player.  If you can stop him Burkeville has a good chance.

They are good.  Their quarterback is an absolute stud.  Division I prospect. Very, very fast.  Stop him and Burkeville has a chance.  My prediction KFW 40-6.

Why does HI only have 9 games.

Should be very close.  Last years game may have been the best game I have ever been to.  This year Im taking HD 22-13.

Hunter is alot like my son.  Everybody always tells them they are to small or to short, but they just keep going out and getting over 10 tackles a game.  Hunter is one of the best "small" players I have seen.  He is just a good football player.  Keep up the good work and God Bless you guys.  Another guy alot like Hunter is Allen Collette.  He is about 160 lbs and played DT last year.  I think he is player OSLB this year. Another good "football player".  That would make a good post you know.  What's the difference between a football player and someone who plays football?

I sure wish he was playing this week.  Would have liked to have seen that.  Since we are talking about best defensive players, Hunter Blake is a pretty good player.

You guys cant find anything better to talk about.  Leli is out.  He is not going to play.  I wish he was playin, but I guarantee you he will play again. Not to many 1a guys get to do that.  He will.

I've seen Woodlands Christian play against my sons team.  They are very talented.  Have 4-5 kids who could play for anyone.  It will be a mismatch.  But they are very good sports and will not run up the score to bad.

Good job cards.  Coach Cherrier 3-1. 

TO bad.  Coach Charrier will have the rest of them ready to play though.  I would no take them lightly.
