I'm going to take Jasper in this one. This will be first game since before silsbee that we will be 100 percent.this should be for distric championship. It will be played in Alamo.

I miss quoted on weathered for Jasper he had 338 yards & Holmes had 148 against Rusk

Jasper has 3 running backs doing good this year Simons ,weathered and Holmes. Weathered had over 220 yards against Rusk & Holmes had over 100 yards. Simons still out . Simons had a good first quarter against Silsbee then got hurt. I believe if he hadn't got hurt been a different outcome. He should be back against Tatum.

Which Jasper team going to show up tonight. Last week we had five turnovers. Two int., one muffed punt, two fumbles. I believe if Jasper holds on to ball & have no turnovers it will be long night for Rusk but it we don't it could be a long night for Jasper.

I can remember one year Jasper came in third place in district had lot of people hurt got them back & played for state that year . All you got to do is get to play offs anything can happen. May peek at the right time.

Look what happened in Jasper nobody needed new facilties worse than Jasper.supertendent school board wanted them but supertendent & school board members are gone. I'm glad we got them. Football field suppose to be ready Sept. 30

Jasper's JV pretty good played Newton JV close then tied Merryville LA varsity one score apiece. This week Jasper freshman has enough players to have a & b teams . A team to play LCM on Thursday at LCM B team to play Evadale JV @ Jasper

Jasper been starting out slow ever since Barbey been here because he plays lots of people everywhere . I think he will have them ready when district comes.

I think the one thing that hurts Jasper is they lose all coaches seems like every year since Barbey been here. You really can't blame them they getting head coach ing jobs or cord. Jobs but hard on kids because they have to learn new systems. This year we trying to learn new off.& def.
