I'm a North Shore alum and fan. And I agree totally in that the success of a program such as North Shore's draws kids. A few years ago it was Allen or SLC that were always being accused of recruiting. Katy even had to deal with the same accusations. Because we've won three titles in four years now the accusations are being thrown our way.

North Shore doesn't recruit any more than any of the other elite programs in the state do.

I fully expect us to win this game. I didn't however expect us to win like this. We were hitting on all cylinders right out of the gate which usually isn't the case. Kaleb Bailey has definitely grown since last year. And he didn't even use his legs in this one. As for the defense you wouldn't know they lost a lot of key players. I know it's only week one but right now I expect to be making a return trip to Arlington in December.

Not sure of the weeks, but North Shore is looking at Spring, Westfield and The Woodlands in non district.

So happy to be with the Beaumont and Humble ISD schools instead of the Pasadena schools as most of the mock realignments were predicting.

A few years ago this isn't even a contest for La Porte. But as I understand thing's their program has taken a total nose dive since the new coaching staff was installed. Timberpups might have a chance here.

It was always a home away from home for us. Played a lot of good games there especially against Lee in their heyday. Definitely one of my all time favorite stadiums.

If you're talking about our starting quarterback he's on the JV team. If you're about King's quarterback I've got no idea what happened.

If King is as one dimensional as most are saying they are. Then there is no way in hell that they're beating North Shore. The game is probably over before the end of the first quarter.

Probably concussion for both guys. I know our db came out for the second half in street clothes. As far as the game goes it went pretty much as I expected it to go. If anything it makes me wonder just good is Atascocita really. They had to go to overtime to beat Summer Creek.

Just as the past two games this one is over by halftime. The real question is how much playing time does the freshman quarterback for North Shore get.

This one completed the Kingwood sweep for me after North Shore destroyed Kingwood Thursday night. That Cougar defense kind of reminded me of ours with how fast they are. With what I saw last night no reason Crosby shouldn't win district.

Was over before it even got started. North Shore brought up freshman Kalieb Bailey who many say is the next big thing at North Shore. He came in and completed a couple nice passes and got a couple td's before turning things back over to Wendell Mitchell. The North Shore defense was it's usually stingy self. Whether or not this is a state championship team remains to be seen.

It was a very heat rivalry in the early years. But then it turned to one of respect. I too miss those three way battles between La Porte and you guys for the district title. Now it only Atascocita for us and Stump has always had trouble with us.

Not nearly the advantage it used to be thanks to some team from the Eastside complaining and getting ya'll turf.🤣

Donkey Stomped them puppies! Trust me North Shore is very little of the things mentioned above. It is a very blue collar area where kids live with one parent or the other or in many cases they live with neither. Yes we have some nice facilities. But there are others around us that have just as nice or nicer in some cases. What they don't have is the All In winning culture that we do.

And that was with our starters not even playing an entire half of football. It would in United's best intrest to stay in 5A.
