:D
Where is the hyped PNG squad? ;)
Scandalous that we were left off  >:( >:(
Some are legends in their own minds...this is the case here :o
 2. coug....get with Vidor folks and start a "all we care about on our schedule is the Nederland game" thread....you'll have a lot to talk about ::)  oh wait Vidor already has that thread...you'll have start your own.I guess in those 24 straight starts, there was a loss to Nederland?  And I will give them the memo from all of our your knowledge about our players....You might want to start instead a Coug eating crow thread now.....oh you WAIT might want to call SC they may want to chime in on a team that they know they can beat thread. ;D ;D ;D ;D
 3. Reading some of the coug fans posts, Nederland should just forfeit that game.  No need to play in Crosby, Dogs out :o  Someone may want to remind Crosby that their district foes are a more important focus...back to Nederland football, (and our focus on district and that quest for the 3)...Like what defensively is returning starting with Malveaux, Washington and Mayfield, Tinsley has nice speed and additions like Krautz either way seems like a boost.  Seay is turning into a nice receiver and wilddog.  Defensively, different players are filling in the missing shoes nicely.  With a backfield lead by Hopkins and a sleuth of others with skills of their own.  I like the O line and their drive.  It doesn't hurt to qbs in abundance.  And returning an outstanding kicker in Noel and I hear Broussard can kick a ball around, too.  Larry Neumann must be thanking the football gods this summer for all that he has been given again and we all know that Neumann KNOWS what to do with it.

 5. two words define another winning season for Ned.....Larry Neumann. he does more with less and more with more. so next season, more is on the field again for Nederland and Larry will have those Dogs ready to challenge any naysayers in the district.  Washington and Hopkins are the senior leaders on this team and i would be pretty happy to start any team with them. don't know much about SC, know that there is talent but discipline might be the shortfall of going further for this team.
 6.

First hand info. from a senior but I do agree the kid is very talented and may have not been feeling well that day.One thing is for sure is the Dogs will reload instead of rebuild next year!
how many returning varisty players does nederland have?
Next year, srs - White, Feltman, Stewart, Clark (Contrast to this senior heavy team, however, good leadership again next season) Players moved up jrs - Broussard, Bordelon, Smith, Nevala soph - Krautz Broussard, Smith have live bats along with Srs Stewart and of course, Feltman...Krautz,Broussard, Babino offer speed like Dogs have now. Lots of good things to look forward to next season.... Let's enjoy this run, Bulldogs.
 7.

I guess there was less rust on the stands and a higher backstop tonight......  ;D ;D Dayton gona finish Ned off tomorrow. This was just a taste of hope for 20-4A.
Dogs, at home, with all pitchers.. I'll take Ned in that one. [/quote} who cares about the pitchers....i'd take a hitter anyday of the week. tomorrow bring moore of the same to the ballpark...and bulldogs win!
 8. Baseball is giving an edge any way you can....stealing signs is as old as the game itself.  Parents need to go and  get a snowcone and be "fans" and these coaches need new signs.
 9.

vidor jv beat lcm 4-3 friday and nederland 3-0 saturday.
Vidor JV beat Ned JV???  That's impressive Has Vidor's 'freshmen' team lost yet?
Yes they did beat them, Vidor's pitcher learned from his last start against Ned (loss 9-1). The first time they played Vidor threw alot of fastballs and they got pounded. On saturday Ned's 4 and 5 hitters saw a combined three fastballs in 8 at bats. Smart pitching on Vidor's part. Vidor's freshman got swept by Ned's freshman this year.
The last time I looked 9 players bat....only one hit in a game doesn't say much
 10. tough one for Bulldogs....heck of a game..Ashworth delivered and that was a shot.gotta to hand it to the kid.big time players make big time plays.the rematch will be nonetheless exciting, though probably hard to top and hopefully not 11 inn.
