Meh, unlike some, I probably watch a few aggy games and doubtful I will tomorrow with so much to do. I still like Herman. It's one game. And he has a top 5 recruiting class shaping up coming off a 5-7 season. We will always get the best players in the state (except for a few blips on the radar when you guys pee all over yourselves). We just have to find the right guy again to put it together. I have high hopes it's Herman and he should have time to do it. I think it will happen faster than some think. Good luck tomorrow Ags. I am rooting for Sumlin. I still think he's the answer and should get a raise and an extension if the Ags are victorious.

Pretty cool that in 2 of the big 3 football states, they have little brothers squaring off a couple of weeks before big brothers play. I know Mack likes to tout channels and viewers - I would be willing to bet all you can eat that the Texas-USC game beats the Aggy-UCLA game in viewers. It likely won't even be close. Regardless of time, channel, etc. In fact, as bad as we've been, the UT could be in the most watched non-conference game for the second year in a row. Just a little FYI.

I wonder if there might be another circumstance at play here? Has something gone on in the last week in a region where 1/3 of the school's alumni are based? Even an aggy should be able to figure this one out. In other news, these preseason rankings are something. I would say they are based on nothing in fact. Except that it is clear that in Texas, the powers that be reallly want one school to be "back," and realllly don't give a damn about the other one

On the price gouging issue, it is illegal and if you believe you spot it and feel the need or duty to report it, the Texas Attorney General, consumer protection division would be the place. I suppose they would determine whether they believe it to be the case in any particular instance and whether they choose to prosecute it. I have been to a few stores and haven't seen it personally. I did see where the HEB in Cypress was selling bread for 10 cents a loaf. I can tell you that the HEB will be getting even more of my business in the future.

Yes it is. Guys, stuff can be replaced, insurance or not. People's lives were in danger last night, including many I am close to in the PA area. That was a sleepless night, with people begging for help while you are totally helpless. Let's pray for everyone's safety first and foremost. The rest we can deal with and persevere. We've done it before, we'll do it again. In the meantime, here is a song by one of my closest childhood friends that's brought me peace in hurricanes past. I hope you can find it too.
