10. Coaches can only do so much in getting a kid recruited.  If you want your kid to be out there and get noticed go to camps and combines, fill out prospect questionnaires, send your highlight video to all the schools the student wants to play for, and use the free recruiting databases to get your name out there.  It is a collaborative effort with the student, parents and then the coaches. Not every school will answer you back but you will get some responses.
 11. Why just not have 7 on 7 at all? Why not prohibit student athletes from participating in it all? I mean if it is going cause such a big deal then just got rid of it, problem solved! No play no foul that is how I see it. But that is just my opinion.  :)
 12. In my opinion, I would want my son to make the decision based upon the education he will receive. I will support him with what ever decision. Do I want him to go all the way to Arizona, no I would rather him stay close to home, but it is his life to live and I will support him wherever he decides to go  ;D
 13. Livingston has a few players that are getting noticed as well. Their D - Lineman who will be a starting senior this year. He may not be ideal size but sure packs a punch I think he has a couple of PAC 12 schools looking at him as well as.  Also I believe their RB # 34 as well has been getting noticed too..
Maybe y'all are remembering something I'm not but I just can't see how y'all are picking Livingston to do anything without chevoski. I just don't see it.
Chevoski wasnt the whole team... Livingston has other players that are big play makers.  This year  Livingston will show what they are capable of.  Their defense has key players that are returning for the 2013 season as well as the offense.  I wouldn't count them out just yet! GO LIONS!!!!!

Livingston is one of those teams that you never know about completely. They're in an area where nobody ever goes, so alot of times it's hard to gauge them. Several guys that I spoke with from Livingston said that this years Lions team isn't very good. We'll find out tomorrow.
If you're comparing the to last years team, no they are not, but they are better in some ways than that team.
I'm just saying that nobody really knows about Livingston year in and year out. Most perople don't see them play even in thier own district. When teams travel to Livingston, alot of fans don't go either because of small stands, too long of a drive, or the horrendous announcer. Therefor, most posters on here can only go by what stats are availible and scores from games. Nobody really knows about the Lions. I did have the guys I spoke with say that this years team isn't as good as the last several years. They said that Livingston rely's on one player too much to rune right and run left and once defenses stop him then it's hard for the Lions to mover the ball. They also said that the defense is horrible. Just going off of what these guys said.
I have watched every game that Livingston has played with the exception of the Nederland game because of prior engagements that night. Livingston defense is not horrible at all, they made to tweek a few thing but horrible they are not. I know you stated that you are gathering your information from hearsay or second hand. But if you really want to watch the defense go to polkcountytoday.com and the editor usually has highlights of the football games on there. That is if you want to form your own opinion than relying on someone else's. The defensive front has come a long way since the begining of the season #58, 76, 34 and a host of others do excellent in containing offense in my opinion. But I guarantee you if #58 0r #34 get loose in that backfield the QB will be seeing the stars in the sky! LOL  The team as a whole has improved over the season. Do I think they will go past the first round? Yes. But ultimately it is the team that has fewer penalties and turnovers that wins. I wish both teams the best of luck and pray for no injuries and safe travels ! GO LIONS!!!!
 16. Livingston has a good defensive. I say the Lions all the way!
 17. Livingston 21 BH 14 I think the Lions are going to bring their A game and pull a win. GO LIONS!!!!

Livingston hasn't proved they can play defense yet.
Are you kidding me? Really, Livingston hasn't proved they can play defense yet????? hahahahahaha I scoff at that ridiculous statement. You obviously haven't seen them play have you. Why don't you go to PolkCountyToday.com and watch the highlight reels of the game and you will see our defense bring it! #2 , #58, # 5 ,# 67, #34, #16 and various others that do an awesome job of defense. When you watch some of the reels then come back and post about not much of defense. I say Livingston all the way!!
why watch a highlight reel to asses a defense. anyone (especially the local media) can put together film of the local team making great plays. stats now, that tells a different tell. and the stats say Liv is giving up 29 pts a game and nearly 300 yards. that's far from stellar.
It maybe far from stellar but look where we are ! LOL clinched a playoff spot enough said hahahahahaha
I remember this same topic last season and a handfull of Livingston fans where speaking of how great Livingston was and so on.  Last time I checked Vidor walked away with a win that game.  I look for that same win to come again in our direction Friday.  ;)  I'm sticking with my 28-14 win by the Pirates
[s]As your memory may recall, as does mine,  Vidor only won by 1 point. So I think you might want to revaluate that statement of Pirates winning by 14 points[/s]. I was thinking of another game hahaha But really we are not the same team of old we are stronger and better !!!  Livingston wins by 2 TD's  ;D **P.S. By your post I would like to make the observation that you possibly did not watch Livingston's Highlight Reel on www.polkcountytoday.com? **  :)
We too are stronger this year dear.  Guess we shall prove it Friday, see yall under those Friday Night Lights. Oh, and as you know, whether it's a 1 point win or a 10 point win, the win is still the same. You know that old phrase, doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winning is winning. **Check your facts too, the final in that game was Vidor 35 Livingston 27. P.S. no need to waste my time watching your highlight reel.  ;)
Apparently you did not read my retraction of the wrong score.. hence the strikeout of  the sentence with the wrong information. A win is win of course not denying that. E tu brute! We will meet Friday and let the best opponent win! Lions all the way! P.S. *** Read before you post of others mistakes when they are clearly mentioned with corrections *** LOL
