1. So I'm leaving the game and some Giddings fans (kids) yelled at us "Better luck next year!!" As I said, they were kids and they were laughing and it was actually good humored, but I quickly responded...."better luck next week!!!", then drove away. Good season Panthers, good luck WOS.
2. Wouldn't count that out just yet. Madisonville moved the ball pretty well with a relatively very young team. They only had like 4 seniors and maybe 5 or 6 juniors that played. A lot of young players that played well. Pretty dynamic offense that actually gave liberty fits to cover. Liberty made some impressive goal line stands sure enough, but Madisonville (IMO) played pretty good with a lot of youngsters. I think they will be a team to be reckoned with the next couple of years. They also showed a lot of sportsmanship and played with class imo, good luck to em in the future. Go Panthers
3. Knowing the situation is not the only answer.  Yes - no verbal is required, but why wouldn't an umpire use the verbal mechanic?  The reason I say this is, there is still a measure of judgement to an infield fly.  It is an infield fly when "in the judgement" of the umpire that the pop up can be caught with ordinary effort, he has to judge this, not the coaches and runners.  In other words, not every pop up to the infield is an infield fly.  Knowing the sitch can be easy, but wondering if the umpires judgement is the same as yours....not so easy.
4. Alright bushpilot. 2 facemask penalties by Hardin early in the third. Wut gives?
5.
I saw this coming, its called game planning and planning one game at a time, i saw woodville twice this yr, and there first option is feed the post and all you gotta do is  clamp on the post front and back and thats what hardin did, take that away and  make them shoot it from the outside
If game planning is so easy, why cant the boys teams do it? Not wanting to argue here, but game planning was only a part of this win.  The girls had a whole lot to do with it as well.
6. Gonna b tough for Hardin, But I wouldn't count em out.  No one thought they'd be here to this point...
7.
basketball..dont know it..ha..no comment...and why is it you'll?? why is it that i have to be from woodville....but woodville has been faced with this defense all year..as a matter of fact thats all this team have been faced with so before u come on here blogging about what u dont know get your facts straight...like i said it was nothing spectacular hardin did woodville had an off game...like i also said im not taking anything from the lady hornets one heck of a game but it wasnt them that beat woodville they beat themselves. and if im not mistaken Bucof2010 stated that woodville was made look silly in one forum but all on another forum rooting for the eagles before this game was played...East Chambers you guys are crzy. :D
You're not taking anything away from Hardin, huh? A little contradictory don't you think? I happen to know the Hardin assistant coach quite well.  They went to Silsbee to meet Woodville with an unbelievable amount of confidence.  I thought she was crazy as well, but they believed they could do it, and they went in there and did it.  Simple as that.
8. Not at the game, but was told the score is 25-2 Hardin. About a minute left in 1st half.
9. Either team affected by the grades? Anybody lose any key players that they know of? Could make a difference.... Just sayin.
10. lmao Thats funny. Footballplayer and formerhornet sound like little jealous school kids to me. They know very little about the game. No sense in arguing with em. Side note: I'd sure like to see either one of them (or both) line up against him. Good luck to Mitch in whatever he decides to do.
11. So your argument is, that if Copeland didn't go major D1 (FBS), that Villamez can't. Are you serious?
12. If he gets too much further, then the umps protection goes with him. I wouldn't let him get too far either. lol...
13. Did he move to safety? I thought he was at corner... I tried to keep up with him this year, just looking at stats. He got a start and had a several tackles and break ups.
14. Here is a link to some pretty good pictures of Liberty from the i-dineout website... [Hidden Content]
