  1. A pinch hit homer off Oswalt? That was a good call on the Pirates part. That stinks though, hope we didn't jinx us...
  2. Middle of the seventh, still 2-0. Biggio, no hits yet. But Oswalt has a hit for the good guys...
  3. Buna wins it probably. Kountze isn't there yet, but I hope its a good game. Kountze has been playing well. Good luck to both...
  4. If HD pitches Carroll, they'll have a chance to win. High Island is pretty solid, but HD has a good freshman pitcher with Carroll. Good luck Bobcats...
  5. Does anyone know who will be pitching for Anahuac? I believe Remsing will pitch for Hardin...
  6. I think good programs start with the community itself. Good people, good parents getting involved and showing support for their children. Also, a good community involvement means better little leagues, be it baseball, basketball, football or whatever. Then the paid coaches start to matter in jr. high. A good athletic director will see to it that his jr. high program is on track.
  7. Deweyville's got a tough line up, with all those leftys, and Warren has a pretty solid line up as well. This game should be close, might come down to whoever plays the best defense. Good luck to both...
  8. [Hidden Content]= this is another good version...
  9. I agree with you whsalum, but it is hard to argue with Muckelroy's numbers. I saw him pitch in the Kountze tournament, and honestly, I didn't think he was, what I would call, dominating. However, he has put up some great numbers in district. Strictly by the numbers, I would have to say Muckelroy is the best.
  10. Yea, I hope he has a good year batting, its hard to have your SS and your Catcher both in the line up for defensive purposes.
  11. Heck, I wouldn't even care who won, I would just like to watch it.
  12. I'll pick Dayton, in a close one. I think Dayton has a solid line up, but they haven't put alot of things together yet. I think it's their time. Wish I could watch it, should be a good one.
  13. Loften, and Alto dropped the baton on the last hand-off in the STATE track meet and Loften stopped, picked it up and still won it! Back in 1986, I think... Fastest human, I've ever seen in person.
  14. What about this... All-star teams, kids from: Kountze and East Chambers VS. H-J and Silsbee. This would be fun to watch.
  15. I hope its a good game like the last one. But I think Hardin may have turned their corner. Looks like they are starting to play a little baseball. Finally. I know Anahuac will hit the ball and play solid in the feild, it will probably come down to who makes the fewest defensive mistakes. At least this game will have some meaning for both teams, they should have their motivation. Good luck Hornets.
  16. Why is this game being played? It won't mean anything, neither team will waste their pitcher for a non district game during the middle of their district races... Is this just for bragging rights or something?
  17. Whoa now...Let's not get carried away, with all that play-off talk. I'll be happy if they just keep playing good, like they should have all along. Congradulations to Hardin and good luck with Anahuac on Tuesday.
  18. Wow, good game Bobcats. Sounds like a close game though, only by 1 touch down. ;D
  19. Sounds like it was a good game, wish I'd been there. Congrats Panthers...
