1. On the offensive line you have strong tackle- jeremiah  chandler, strong Guard- brandon mojica, center- gage baker, quick guard- nathan guidry, quick tackle- tyler mcdaniel. Jeremiah would be the biggest offensive lineman at 6' 2, 275 lb. he is a beast on the o-line.
 2. Vidor will win. Going for central to win. I already know the probable outcome.
 3. I thought with a central win, that sealed the deal.
 4. So why did I see posts that if central won then vidor would go d2.
 5. I saw on a website that vidor was division 2. We are aggies posted it.
I just spoke with my brother who starts on the offensive line for vidor and he told me that matthews said that if they had a personal foul called on them, then they would do rolls and lunges at practice. My brother told me that he got his face mask pulled after a play and he didn't do anything to deserve it. He ended up laying him  out on a trap play the next play. Did admit that some of the players did call some of the livingston players names so it wasn't the whole team but he did say that livingston definitely did start it. My nephew had players spitting in his face, on two different occasions players grabbing his privates and twisting during the game. Then during the hand shakes afterwards another player spit in his face. Beyond the point of trashy and horrible sportsmanship. As stated earlier this team does not belong with the rest of 20-4A!
Why don't you quit lying that is what the vidor players were doing, I was at the game and I will at least tell the truth, Vidor is one of the dirtyest teams I have ever seen, the Livingston players got tired of it and started playing dirty too, The refs were terrible, but in your favor, I knew when they called the touchdown back when it was defensive pass interferance that they refs were going to call it for Vidor, not only that but your players were using the N word and over on Livingston sideline giving our coaches the finger and cursing them. Your Fans were trying to attack our players after the game and the police in your town were in the face of our players instead of doing their job of protecting our players on their way off the field. If Livingston had done that to any team I would be ashame. Now that is the truth, I could say a lots more that happen but I will leave it at that, because there is always two sides to a story. I'm not going to justify Livingston and you sure can't justify Vidor, the whole night was a disgrace to High School Football.
i usually just come on here and read all the opinions about the games...but this one i just couldnt stay away from....you have to be kidding me...the play that started all this was actually on the channel 6 sports show last night...you can clearly see #14 taunting our QB after he had just be given the flag...in fact when it happened live we actually thought he was walking over to our coaches to say he was sorry until we realized he was taunting...which he continued to do the entire game...great player and i don't blame him...the coaches should have pulled him after maybe like the 5th time he taunted our players and fans...i think it worked against him because it only fired the players and the fans up....the last Go Pirates Go chant was prolly the loudest i have ever heard and it was all do to his actions...now football is football and being a former player you get all kinds of extra stuff on the field...no doubt...but tonight one guy was too obvious and it hurt his team... 7. What app does my phone need to have for the broadcast to work?
 8. I really don't see png winning the next two games.
 9. I know how all the raider fans feel. I played for Vidor in 07-08 season for those Vidor fans that remember that season. I had fans tell me that was the first year they didn't buy season tickets because of how bad we were doing and everybody was blaiming matthews for everything but in reality it was that the players just didn't care. we had alot of players that just messed around at practice and just were not very disciplined, not to say that they were all like that, but we also had alot of younger players that were sophmores. We had about 10 to 12 seniors and the rest were sophmores. We went 2-8 that year. That was the year Lumberton had alot of success. The next year came around and the players matured and learned to play together better and had better discipline. They didn't make the playoffs the next year but they did a heck of alot better. Everybody stopped bad mouthing matthews after that and we started seeing more fans. There were those fans that did stick with us through thick and thin so don't think that I am bad mouthing all the vidor fans but I love pirate football and I have gone to games since I was little and I didn't even have people that I was there for. My brother Jeremiah chandler #75 plays on the o-line and I am so proud that he gets to experience the playoffs, something that I only wished I could have been apart of. The fans of Vidor is a big part of vidors success. I wish I could be there for my pirates but I live in Florida now I would appreciate updates as much as possible. I believe Lumberton will bounce back and I also hope that Vidor continues the great game playing that they show now and make a habit of going to the playoffs as well as lumberton. May all the kids that play High school football have the best years of their life and have fun with no injuries. I know that I did even though we had an off year. Its the game that I loved playing and the town that I was representing and hearing those fans screaming as we ran out on the field is why I loved it so much. GO PIRATES AND GOOD LUCK TO LUMBERTON ON THIS SEASON AND TO ALL THE SEASONS TO COME.
There are no easy wins in 20-4A.  The Pirates have 3 tough opponents to face with PNG, Livingston, and LCM.  LCM scares me the most, especially at home.  For some reason they play like a different team on their home field and Vidor doesnt play very well there. I hate to say it, but I see the Pirates go 2-1 from here on out.  It doesnt change things for the playoffs, at least for us.  It would be nice for us to go to D2, but that is out of our hands, so we cant worry about that.
I have seen vidor play lcm at home and play very well. With the way vidor is playing ball home and away, I don't see them losing a game. Lcm is the biggest worry to me though with how good they are playing. As long as vidor doesn't have alot dumb mistakes then they will win out. We have to also not let penalties shoot us in the foot. that has to be under control.

Ozen will win ONE more game this year---versus Lumberton, Ozen will not beat any Mid-County school this year IMO.
You see Ozen losing to PN-G, man?  Very interesting.  I  can see Ozen beating PN-G by more than a TD.
I can see ozen beating Png as well. I am just about willing to bet on that.
 12. Number 75, jeremiah chandler is a big force on O-line.
 13. Alright! Keep it up. Keep updates coming. This is my only way of knowing whats going on.
 14. I think they're just a little nervous. They haven't been in a game for a while so this helps them get back into the swing of things.
 15. I predict vidor to come in second. Of course I want them to come in first but thats too much to ask for right now.

Yes they suffered a loss of a player and friend but I don't think they dwell on that. They have other weapons for RB to start this year. Stephenson is a quick guy. I forget who the other starter is. The linebacker corp and secondary is prettty much the same. I can see a good run this year. I can see a 7 or 8 game season. That is if they play smart football. We shot ourselves in the foot last year with mental mistakes when we should have won the close games. They also need to keep intensity all 4 quarters. The montgomery game is a perfect example. Go Pirates!!! I think that will depend on several of things.  One will be the offensive line.  With the loss of most of the line and ( I think) two of thier RBs,  Quirante (sp) might have a toug her time getting yards.  Also,  the passing game.  Will they pass more???.  Also, keeping Quirante healthy with him playing both ways will be paramount.  Lastly,  with the roller coaster of emotion from last year, will  they be able to keep up that intensity all season or will the season grind them down.

This is actually my 4th or 5th account. I just keep forgetting my password. Good post. Especially considering its your first post on the site. Welcome to SETX sports. Glad to welcome another Vidor fan.  8)
