  1. I think Hardin will win, West Hardin lost 17 seniors, thats alot for a 1a team to overcome, should be a close one but I think Hardin pulls it out. If they don't though it will be a long year when they get to dist 10 AA
  2. Didn't play at Hardin and I definitely wasn't all state. I'm am not trying to make a prediction or being happy about it, smply saying that if they dont beat west hardin district 10-AA may be the best 2A district in the state. Good luck to the kids and fortune, but just because someone has an opinion doesn't mean he's bashing the kids. You get on hear and actually single out coaches and say they arent coaching all of the kids, but I'm the one causing problems. If you are trying to be all high and mighty and tell everyone to be super positive and teach kids the right way, maybe you shouldnt post things about coaches on the same site you said the kids read. That teaches them to question coaches and hurts the process just as bad buddy.
  3. 1700 Yds is alot of yards man, I'm not Haynes son, I played LB for him in high school and He definietly coached every player on the team including me. Even though I'm not his son I think of him as a father, and when people try to make it sound like he doesnt care about all the kids on his team it bugs me. Haynes made me a better man and because of that I'm a better Father. Just don't make up lies dude.
  4. So you were at the practices, I guess you were on the coaching staff huh since you know what their practice schedule. thats silly to suggest that a coach would ignore the defensive side of the ball. It's just not true. Once again, while Haynes was there they had an all state LB and a RB set the School record with1700 yds rushing in a season, That would be impossible to achieve if a coach only coached the spread and his QBs and ignored the other side of the ball. Not trying to be negative I just think its funny how people get on here and bash the former coaches like they did and still do. Go look up Haynes Resume, There is no way you can win over 75% of your games by only coaching the spread and ignoring defense. HAVE A CLUE.
  5. Yeah great post cause i'm sure hardin just never practiced defense or run blocking in the past 5 years. Just offense and passing. I'm sure a coach who has been one of the most successful coaches in SETX history and has most of his wins at the 4A AND 5A level would decide to only work on passing game and offense and ignore all other aspects of the game. Dont forget that in the 4 years that you are saying they didnt run block or work on defense they won the only 2 playoff games in school history and had an all state linebacker and a running back set the school record with over 1700 yards rushing. you people are so clueless that its comical. Good luck to fortune and the kids but maybe Hardin should quit acting like they havent been coached at all in the past 5 years. It was the winningest 5 year stretch in school history.
  6. Wow, Hardin had better be gameplanning like crazy to beat West Hardin or 0-10 is looking like a possibility. Guess getting rid of Haynes wasn't that great of an idea.
  7. Incognito you couldn't be more wrong, Haynes is one of the hardest working people I have ever met in my life. He was at every single home girls and boys basketball game, I saw that with my own eyes (so you are lying through your keyboard teeth) and he has built up the facilities to a top notch level in po-dunk Hardin. Why would he go through all that effort if he didn't care. You obviously are a parent of a kid who didn't play or something, go get a job or find a hobby instead of living on these boards. Remember lying to make some one look bad just makes you look bad when the truth comes out, he was at every single game and was at work every day at 7:00am and had more success than anyone in school history. Men lie, women lie, but numbers don't lie.
  8. Why is everyone acting like Hardin hasn't been getting the attention they deserve from the last AD. Haynes Has an incredible record, most of it at the 4A/ 5A level, and he was the coach when they won the only playoff game in school history, oh and by the way he was also the QB for the only district champ in school history. He was at every home athletic function icluding the girls hornetmom, and not to mention this place was a dump before Haynes showed up, I was here I remember, now we have some of the nicest athletic facilities in the state for any level much less 2A and thats includes the work he had done at the baseball and softball fields. No offense to Fortune but if Larry Haynes can't score points with em no one can
  9. Ok I played for coach Haynes and I can tell you firsthand discipline was never a problem or lax. That is why we went from 1-9 to in the playoffs. If Haynes is one thing it is definitely a leader and molder of men. His words still ring in my ears everyday that the number one role a man can play in life is Fatherhood, as a father i'm still inspired by that everyday. Incognito you are so off it's comical.
