I heard that Anahuac had some players that were eligible only during the Holidays playing.

No way should WH be ranked over HJ. WH has done well but they couldn't hang with HJ. HJ has a solid 5 or 6 players, WH has 2. What I would like to see is WH and EC play.

That's a shock.

I agree with WHFAN. Tarkington is much improved. We've played both and Tarkington is pretty solid with good coaching.

It really is a good district. Evadale, High Island and Sabine pass are good teams but not the calibar of WH, Spurger and Big Sandy. I have do not know what Hull has coming back, But the are really really good at home if you know what I mean.

I think WH will win the district, but no go undefeated. They have to play Spurger in Spurger. I have seen both of their games and Spurger could very well win in Spurger. Have not seen Big Sandy since summer. I know they will have a good team and will be hard to beat at home. WH first, Spurger and Big Sandy 2nd or 3rd.

Don't know who won it but if it wasn't Letsinger it was rigged.

The game was much closer than the score. It was a 3 point game with about 3 minutes left. Spurger had no outside shooting and had no one to cover #5. WH should have no complaints about the refs, the foul count was lopsided in their favor. WH has a good team and will do well in the district, both teams are well coached. But I really do like the Spurger coach, he had lotsa class last night.
