Uncle Rico. Hardin and Anahuac doesn't use Beaumont chapter refs. The Warren coach did not want to use refs from whatever chapter Hardin uses, so he scratched them. (after watching the freshman and Jv game I understand why, they were bad both ways) So UIL refs were used, and I thought they did a good fair job. Anahuac chose to use Beaumont chapter refs. There was nothing personal, just a coaching decision. This was a big game for both teams and it needed to be decided by the players and not by just what was available. If you know what I mean?

Warren scored 40+ in the paint. Why shoot? It's not McDonald that will give Warren the problem it's Mr. Thomas! (and I mean that with respect). As far as the shooters, if you were at the game in Hardin game in Warren how could you question our shooters? It's simple, play Thomas as close as you can and hope the shots fall. I don't bet on the Cowboys or Warren but I hope for a close game. As far as the refs, Warren can get "home cooked" in their own gym, we have no refs, wish we did.

Marsh is an excellent post, he could play on my team anytime. But if I am looking for a shooter give me Sims, thank you. Hdbasketballstar, Sims took two shots last night. Our boys under the basket scored 40pts, Sims did what he was supposed to do.

Warren 15 33 46 58 Granger 25, Andrews 15 Hardin 16 28 32 45 Marsh 17, Zarrarrifa 17 Granger fouled out in 4th. It was a good hard fought game on both sides. The little dribblers were cool!

This is going to be a tough game. Warren is going to have to be ready to play, and I think they will be. Hardin has really been playing well and Marsh is a man.

Warren or Hardin vs West Hardin would be a good game.

You are right EC, I like both Warren or Hardin's chances in the first round. And then who knows, anything can happen.

And Warren must lose out. They have Hardin (there), EC and Kountze at home

Haven't seen HD but Anahuac has potential. They have some size and are quick. Just not disciplined.

After tonight there are still 4 games to be played by WH and BS. Anything can happen.

My boy has played against all three and said he would pick Brown real quick.

He is their leader and makes the difference.

Untill last night I would have bet on Kountze. Now probably EC in overtime. Hope I will be able to be there, it's gonna be a good one.

Most of the ones I know have retired. But my favorite was Tom Settle. He was a class act. Throw you out then buy you coffee.

I think it will come down to how the refs call the game. Tight and HJ wins by 6, if they "let them play", Silsbee by 6. Definitely the game to ba at.

Are you kidding. In Kountze? Kountze by 10. We will have to get to a neutral site to see who is the best between these two.
