Well, if Nederland can control the clock and keep their offense on the field for long, time consuming drives, I think they have a really good chance of shutting GT down.  Their defense has GREATLY improved since the third week of the season.

Just curious, Ace; what post did you make the pissed off so many people to have that kind of karma?  Not a single upvote!  I'm truly baffled. :'(

[/quote] Sounds like the SC/Vidor game.  Defense can just do so much until the mistakes shoot you in the foot, and when you play good teams, those good teams know how to take advantage of mistakes slowly but surely, in turn making you lose momentum and control of a game.

Greatest show on smurfs.  They'll be black and blue (mostly blue) after this one.

Vidor can hang with these guys.  Most teams would lose all momentum after two opening fumbles that led to touchdowns.  There is some serious heart out there on the field tonight.  Roll on, Pirates!

Singleton is bigger and faster than Collins and Denny is more agile and elusive than Quirante. You have to think, the only good team Montana plays qb for over here is BH and Collins would be a true db. Playmaking ability is what stands out in 19-4a, we have athletes everywhere over here, even CE King. Wait 'til Vidor sees Greg Hogan, he's not big on a lot of schools radar but he will be the best receiver Vidor has seen this year, you have to roll coverage to him and then they backdoor you with Ruffin. We have some awesome athletes over here in 19-4a, I think the bi-district matchups are going to show that. I know of a girls softball player (pitcher) in 19-4a who is better than any athlete on the Vidor, or SC football teams.(no she doesn't attend SC) She has already been tapped for a Olympic team, and she is only 14 years old. She didn't compete in the Olympics this year, because of her age. She WILL be in Brazil in four years, unless she gets injured. Posters need to qualify their post before clicking the post button. [/quote] This is a perfect example of how these message boards should be between two teams that both have aspirations of winning.  I'm so tired of the negativity the majority of 19-4A carries.  Dayton has class, most of BH has class, SC thinks they are God's gift of perfection to the world in high school football while all the while their enrollment doubles most 4A schools.  The talent pool to choose from there is unreal and if any other school had the numbers they had to choose from I know that their egos would be at bay.  Personally, I'm a Vidor fan.  I know that Vidor has some fans that have been known to run their mouth a bit but compared to SC it's absurd.  I have NEVER seen a more classless bit of individuals.  Respect is earned, not bestowed.  Good luck to both Nederland and Dayton.  I'll be pulling for Nederland but will refuse to spit on and slander Dayton's name like other posters on this website have (SC).  Dayton is a very talented team and their fans have a true pride for their team rather than a disdain for everyone else that ISN'T their team.
