i have been preaching all year don't believe the hype!!! manvel, dawson, and north shore are ALL suspect!!! last night, for the second year in a row, texas city went to the wire with the #1 team in 4a. in a 32-29 loss. we might have our differences here on setx, but in some areas of the state, they get hype, credit or whatever, due to what they did last year or because they play a creampuff schedule and run up the score, they are supposed to be their former selves!! THIS side of the trinity DOMINATES people west of here, stoping in houston!! FOOTBALL IS much BETTER PLAYED IN THE TRIANGLE AND SURROUNDING AREAS,EAST OF THE TRINITY!! starting with last year and moving forward, west of the trinity is GARBAGE!!. the winds have changed.
Make that 10 miles or more west of the Trinity.  sorry sc.. ;)
 4. Man where is all the LOVE you two were showing each other last week?
 5.
We proved we can go toe to toe with state-ranked Angelton.  Four fumbles and a torrential rainstorm and we still came back and within a 2-point conversion of winning.  Not to mention all of the injuries we had to deal with over the last few years, this coaching staff knows how to handle adversity.
Very suspect????

 7.
Box score is in KP tied the Bronco's in total yars with 341. KP had 8 more first downs than the Broncos (22 to 14) and fumbled the ball 4 times losing 3 of them! Looks like if they could have covered the homerun throws that Dayton seems to live by this might have been a closer game.
IF IF IF if frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their a$@ all the time either. :P
 8. Both linebackers 51 & 34 didnot play due to trying to heal up ankle injuries.
 9.
I dont even think you were at the game. One of the fumbles was on 4th down and he was well short of the first. Its on youtube if you want to see it. Dayton also had an int. The dropped td in the endzone is because the kid had the crap knocked out of him. Thats on youtube to.
And the other so called TD dropped pass was right after the hard hit in the endzone and we had a player a few steps from hitting him.  That's why he dropped it, he heard the foot steps coming.  And think that is on Video also.
 10. Houston chronicile had the best passers in area.  Shows New Caney Portor at # 5. :o  I'm sure they meant SC.. :'(

Why, when you have a kicker that can kick out of the end zone everytime, do you call a pooch kick 80% of the time allowing the other team to get the ball anywhere from the 35-50? Over the past couple of years I have only seen 2 or 3 times where it's worked in our favor and they fumbled. I would much rather know that everytime they have to start at the 25. I know someone is going to come back and say "why don't you be the coach and blah blah blah." I'm just asking a legitimate question.
You know of a high shool kicker that can KICK IT OUT OF THE END ZONE every time?  Please post that name because there will be a lot of scouts wanting to see that. ???
Hijack  Hijack,  yea that's right dayton is doing another thread hijacking because we have a kicker that can kick out end zone 97% of the time: JUAN CARRANCO and he is heavily scouted.  He just kicked a 50 yrd FG in the last game.  His longest is 52 yrds twice last year.  8)  He has also put it thru the up rights a couple times on a kick off from the normal 40 yrd line.
Guess I'll go back and talk smack in 19 4a threads because ya'll are no fun.  :o ;D Good luck with Livingston you might need a good kicker... ;)

I hope BH does beat Dayton. It would give Dayton, Hill, and Crosby all two district losses and put them in a three way tie for second place. Creek is going to roll Barbers Hill, they just don't have the athletes to stay with Dogs. Hill had a problem with Crosby at line of scrimmage, SC is in a whole different stratosphere. I know you think the Crosby game was a fluke but now they have 5 layups in a row. Take out KP and Crosby's remaining opponents have 3 combined wins. Crosby will finish the season 7-3(6-2) with the only losses to #8 Nederland, #11 Dayton (maybe top ten this week), and SC who along with Dawson has to be the odds on favorite for the 4a-D1 state title. Looks like Crosby and BH will be going to the small 4a playoffs so y'all could potentially get another whipping in late November or early December so be careful asking for that re-do. Y'all were lucky to get that 17 you put up, but even luckier to hold Crosby to 35.
Whoa... Do what?!?! Dawson's earned that ranking.... Through several years of good/talented teams. Just because SC throttled you guys.... (with almost the exact boxscore that dayton did), doesn't put them in that class. Not saying they won't get there, but Angleton and Nederland, just to name a couple will have plenty to say about who gets out of this region in D1. oh..... and BH wins this one by 3.
Barring injuries the SC vs Dayton final score will look like the Crosby vs SC score except without Dayton having more yards than SC. Crosby doesn't have a good pass defense, but niether does Dayton. Creek doesn't have any respect because they're a new school just like Dawson was. We played Dawson a lot of times so I see what kind of talent they have. Crosby lost 56-36 to Dawson one of the years they lost to Travis in the semi-finals. SC is bigger and faster than any of those Dawson teams. I was suprised to see how small Dayton was, even smaller than Barbers Hill which is why Dayton will probably lose two in a row to them. SC will put more yards on Dayton than Crosby did, except they won't drop tds or fumble it all over the field. I'm not knocking Dayton, especially since there's no chance of Crosby seeing Dayton anymore this year, I'm just saying the only close game SC would play in this area is North Shore and that's not a possibility. Dayton is giong to finish in a three way tie for second and play Nederland in the first round of the D1 playoffs. Could be one a done for the Bronco's this year.
::) ::) ::) ::) North Shores JV maybe? :o
 14.
Ok. Dayton. First thing. BH has dominated the district in everything ever. Yes you have a good football team and when we beat y'all at that then you have nothing but living in double wides and some government housing. If you ever want to dare compare schools or everything tied up in a bow let me know. Cause we crush. Now as far as our QB. He will go D1 in anything he wants. He is 6'2 and runs a 5 flat. Plus he is smart. You can say what you want but the kid is awesome. Now go yell at the dogs in your front yard and kiss your fat wife and tell those kids with overloaded diapers to get memaw to change them. Are you a pipe fitter? No wait. Your a welder.
Most linemen that go D1 run a 5 flat, you know the one's that are 6'4 and 295 lbs..  To say QB, 5 flat and D1 in the same paragragh is just plain ignorent. ;) ::)
 15.
Folks, especially those in PAM and Nederland who have never seen real football, if you want to see a special team skip your next loss and go watch SC.  I have listed a hand-full of special passing teams and it's a pretty elite list.  I put this SC team on the "pending" list, but they have the look.  Now, since your voters won't every put them @ the #1 spot, your voters will ge embarrised come playoffs.  2010 Carthage State Team Jasper/Gilmer State Championship Game at SFA (both teams) Lufkin Team from 2 or 3 years ago 2009 & 2010 Lake Travis Teams
Sounds like he is trying to prepare himself for a tradeup ;) :'( and leave the land of one-n-dones of the 4a's ;D.  He just wants to have more kids to choice from that's all. ::)

 22.
This is a post from Eagle 82 on another thread and I just had to move it here ;D So when you chant that BH is "One and Done" next time maybe just maybe you will realize that were still better than you 8) Here is some interesting information about years in 4A, playoff appearances, and first win in this classification since 1980 when the UIL eliminated Class B and moved everybody up 1-A division. I'm not saying BH will make the playoffs this year, yet alone, win their first playoff game in 4A although we can always hope, right?  But after doing a little snooping around on DCTHF's website, here is a little 4A playoff history with regards Dayton, Crosby, and BH - mind you, only for comparison sakes. 1980 and Beyond Years is 4A Crosby 32 (consecutive) Dayton 32 (consecutive) BH 6 (consecutive) Playoff Appearances: Crosby 12 Dayton 17 BH 6 First 4A playoff Appearance: Crosby 4th year Dayton 5th year BH 1st year First Playoff Win: Crosby 1999 - 20 years in 4A Dayton 1998 - 19 years in 4A BH ?? - well...who knows; but we at least have another 13 years just to reach Dayton's effort and of course, this based on somebody else's information....But really interesting nonetheless!!!
Ya'll didn't make playoffs in '07 & '08.  Crosby 14 Dayton 18
