[/quote] The Beaumont BLUE Team this year IS the Beaumont GOLD Team from LAST Year so OCHO is right. We spanked Lumberton Red. We had to change colors to match brothers playing on Junior Blue and Senior for scheduling. Same Team, same Coaches, new Color; Gold = Blue; Blue = Gold. What about respect for the 4 kids Beaumont Blue had to give up thanks to Lumberton's Coach? He was at our draft as the STJFL Rep and didn't say a word about our draft results, waits till the week of the game to decide we have too many 8 year olds. Why not point it out that night since he was there along with a PNG STJFL Rep??? But no, wait till game week to protest and cause 4 kids who have been practicing for 4 weeks to be told the night before that they can't play. Sounds pretty calculated.

Wow. Just saw a Lumberton Red coach yell at his hurt player to "get off the field and stop it" while the Beaumont Coach checked on him. So sad, really. Kids first right?

I assume Pro-Bowl games are played in between??

[/quote] Lumberton White played a good game and hats off to them. Our boys were out of sync for some reason and really defeated themselves Saturday. 6 turnovers (and 4 of them fumbles) and a touchdown called back...well, Bmt-Gold just wasn't on their game. Still to have only lost by one touchdown after giving Lum-W the ball 6 extra times. Not bad my little Bulldogs, not bad at all. Looking forward to all the Playoff games and good luck to everyone. [/quote] I totally thought Ochocinco was from Nederland the way he came at us (yes I'm from Beaumont) before we played Nederland Black. He used words like 'us' and 'we' and pretty much tried to point out all the reasons Beaumont Gold couldn't win against Nederland Black and how we didn't know what it was like to play against 'great' teams. Sort of represented himself as a Nederland expert just like he is now suddenly a Lumberton expert, or maybe he's just really got it bad for Beaumont?? Anyway, I've heard nothing but good things about Lumberton White and Chris, obviously a classy guy as he hasn't talked crap on any teams. Looking forward to a good game Saturday. Hopefully the parents there will set good sportsmanship examples for all of our kids and not act like number 86.  Kim

Nothing better than seeing over cocky adults who use a child's game to sling mud, be shut down (by 30 points nonetheless). I guess Nederland Black wasn't really feeling "UPPER ECHELON" today, maybe more like 'below average echelon'.  Lousy wins? The majority of this Pee Wee Gold team are the same kids and coaches from last year's Bmt Flag Team that won every game and went to the Super Bowl to play Nederland Black's Flag team, which we lost. Not bad for our 2nd year in the league. So they've been winning for a while now. Sorry you couldn't show us who the "real Bulldogs of the League" were and make us "stop it". Enjoy your 3-2 record and we'll enjoy our 5-0.  9-24-11 Judgment Day...Beaumont Winners, Nederland Losers. Case Closed.
