1.

Bmt B beat Jasper/Woodille allstar team today 39-0. Good job to both teams. Those Jasper/Woodville boys could play ball and could give some licks! Watch out Corpus, the show is coming your way!
Someone told me last night that BMT B has decided to play in the AAU National Tournament in Houston Tx Dec 7-9. Games are played at Reliant Stadium. Im curious to see how the BMT B kids will stack up against some of the best SELECT TEAMS from all over Texas and other States. Good Luck!!
You are correct. Personally I'm disappointed. I wish BMT B would have followed the route of the other STJFL Super Bowl Winners/Runner Ups and gone to the USA Football sponsored Corpus Tournament. There BMT B would have played other league Super Bowl winners and possibly gone onto a State Championship in San Antonio. In the AAU Tournament, they aren't really representing STJFL. Like you said, its Select Teams from all over. I would have liked to seen BMT B claim South Texas Youth Football League Championship and possibly the Texas Youth Football State Championship. I thought that would have served the kids better. BMT B is not a Select Team, its an undefeated Super Bowl winning League team. I think we will see there is going to be a difference. JMO but Good luck.
2. Nederland is looking good on the poll and I must agree. Get them Nederland. You can do it.
3. North... WOS is phenomenal but I think overall North will have it.
4. Congrats on the win Lumberton Blue! I didn't get to see the game but I heard you played hard and it was a well deserved win. Nice job. I wish you all the best in the post season tournaments.
5. Glad I missed all the excitement. I just want to give a BIG shout out to Vidor. You have a fantastic team that played hard all year. The community support in Vidor is absolutely amazing from the High School level all the way down to the Youth Football level. I've never seen a town so supportive and joined as a community. I have friends there although I do not live there and Vidor is on the top of my list to root for. GREAT SEASON and there will be many more to come. You have a fan in me.  :)
6.
Way to play to the end Ozen.  Great year.
Ahh heartbreak, but I so agree. Great year Ozen. Still proud of you and I love me some Jacobi Jones. What a kiddo.
7. Congrats Nederland. Glad to see someone still representing the Golden Triangle. I hope you keep advancing in playoffs.
8. Ozen looked good against Lumberton last Friday and rallied in the 2nd half big time. Jackobi was on fire and if he plays that way in Crosby, I'm going with Ozen.
9.

Not that it matters, but I still think the stjfl should have left things like they were, larger districts wind up with more teams so the tallent is split, just seems watered down with 6-8(w/flag) super bowl champions in 3 age groups, play the teams in your age gpoup and have one Champion, the old system was fine for a league this size, or take one season and do playoffs big school - small school and then play big against small for the title and see how many big schools win vs how many small schools win and I'll bet it's pretty even.
agree, big schools split which balances the talent. Besides, WOS (small school) is always in the hunt and not matter if you are big or small, usually the road to the championship goes through WOS.
Anyone know if WOS is staying in small school division for now on? Or are they moving up?
Does a Little School have the option to play up if they want to? WOS could compete in Big School easily, my opinion.
10. Anyone know the score on this one: Jr Small: WOS vs LC? Maybe I am over looking it.
11. Ned B offense 6 minutes of the first quarter and couldn't score. BMT scores in 20 seconds after they finally get the ball. BAM. Run that clock NED B.
12.
It's Game Day!  Good luck to both teams.  This should be a hard fought game.  Let's just remember when its all said & done that these are 9 & 10 yr old boys leaving their hearts on the field.
Well said
13. Congrats local seniors. Thanks for making our weekends a little more fun following you and your games.
14. Panthers, in a battle to the end. Very close game and Panthers must bring on the Defense.
15.
8:13 left. 49-42 Vidor
Way closer than I expected. Lets go Vidor.
16. So what is the playoff magic here? Who has to win/lose for who to go to the playoffs? Because I love Vidor too so I hope they are winning.
17. Ozen TD and extra point. 35-15 Panthers came out strong in 2nd half.
18.
My prediction... PNG P wins LC wins Bmt B wins WOS wins Vid W wins WOS wins Lum B wins Congrats to all the teams that made it this far and good luck Sunday!
I agree with every one of your predictions bradyb.
19. Ozen had 2 great looking TD's in the first quarter. The defense is getting pushed back by Lumberton's OL. Should still be a good 2nd half.
20. Thanks. Got confused for a second. That top post said at Raider Stadium.
