2. How long does it usually take the STJFL site to get updated? I know when/who my kid plays but want to see the other match ups and other divisions.

 4.
I would surely buy seats for that one!!! And all proceeds could benefit the league or each league or however everyone agrees! That would be so much fun for us and the kids!!! Boys would eat that up!!
This is a great idea to use it as a fundraiser for the league or each league. A good time for all and some assistance for the league.
 5. Prayers to the family and community. I'm going to hug my boys tight. So sad.
I know you are not from Nederland so it looks like I was really, really wrong.

 8. Sorry, I meant the STJFL's Pro-Bowl. North vs South thing. Is that the same day as Super Bowl? Will there be a small school Pro-Bowl and Big School Bowl or just one?
 9. Lumberton-B and I agree the best 2 teams are the Lumberton Teams.
 10.

I see PNG W and Lumberton B making it. PNG W will win it! After playing Lumberton B once already we will make adjustments and stop them. If you have watched them this year (and I have several times) not in any of those games have they made any adjustments on Offense run same plays over and over. With that being said, I think, that will hurt them come playoffs. Their offense is PLANE, and oh yeah, they have no SPEED!
plane/plān/Noun: 1.A flat surface on which a straight line joining any two points on it would wholly lie. 2.An airplane. 3.A tool consisting of a block with a projecting steel blade, used to smooth a wooden or other surface by paring shavings from it. 4.A tall spreading tree (genus Platanus, family Platanaceae) of the northern hemisphere plain/plān/Adjective: 1. You can say what you want but scoring 55 in a youth football game is ridiculous. I don't care if you have your 3rd string in. That's classless on behalf of the coaching staff. I have been in this league since the stjfl formed and have never seen a score like that.So that tells me once they got up by 28-0 they couldn't have had a continuous running clock, and they should have. They should be punished for posting a score like that, so much for teaching your kids sportsmanship they should be ashamed of themselves, the coaching staff that is.
I was there at the game. They put the 3rd string offense in the first half. You might want to get the facts straight.  The PNG coach kept throwing it EVERY down and Vidor had at least 3 interception returns for touchdowns. We wanted to run the clock, but apparently the PNG coach didn't . Also after 41 was put up on the scoreboard our scorekeeper would not put anymore points on the scoreboard for Vidor(so it showed 41). Also he did run the clock in the 4th just to get the game over with. What would you like to tell the 9-10 year old third string running back to do? Just take a knee?  Also there were fumbles that the refs would point vidor ball and the Vidor coaches said "no they were down". (PNG football.)   It amazes me how PNG  always has one AWESOME team and  the other one(s) are horrible. If you really want to gripe go to a PNG Draft and voice your concerns. When a coach throws the ball every other down (after getting his hat handed to him)and stops the clock, or risks the ball being intercepted he is just prolonging the game. Not very smart in my opinion. If you weren't there, get back on your high horse and keep your mouth shut.   And before you say I am hiding behind a screen name. Ny name is Corey Berg  everyone knows me on here and I am not hard to find. So before you say what you would do if you knew me, save it. I been around this league too for a longtime. And of course we have tape to prove that there was no intentions of running up the score. Now go polish your Halo and say a prayer for those mean ol' Vidor coaches who should be ashamed of them selves! Please get a life! ::)
Congratulations on winning your game. I know kids playing for Vidor so I always pull for Vidor when they aren't playing BMT of course  ;D You have NO reason to defend your game, the score, the coaches, or your players. Everyone knows, or should know, Vidor-W is an awesome, well coached team that have worked hard to get to where they are. Honestly, knowing Gucci  ;) , it sounds like he was quoting the original post that someone on this forum slammed on BMT-B after the BMT-B vs PNG-G Pee Wee game. The wording sounds exactly the same. You did make some really good points and many that as a BMT-B parent, I can relate to after our Pee Wee game with PNG-G and all the stink that followed it. Anyway, congratulations again. I'm rooting for our Jr Blue team but I must say my bet is on Vidor-W to win the Super Bowl and if you do it will be so very well deserved. Good luck next weekend.

Sounds identical to Bmt B peewee situation a few weeks ago and their head coaches got suspended for 2 weeks. Hope stjfl steps in on this one too. It would be bad press for them to punish one team while letting another slide.
Fact......... BMT's PW situation involved having a starter handle the ball after reaching a point spread of 28. A rules violation cause the punishment. If you reply to this then you are proving how much you really know.
Wow, :o a 2 game suspension for the Head Coaches for this? That seems pretty steep for a first occurrence rule violation. Is this a typical punishment for a first time offense of this nature? Just curious.
 13.
Imma go ahead and go with bmt over ned...let them go to playoffs please so we dont have another week.....please bmt win that game
Hahaha, ok I'm a BMT person, I don't know that they will win, would love to see it but not throwing down my prediction on it. But what is so funny is IF BMT won then that would knock Nederland our of the play-off and put BMT in the playoff if they are still planning to bring 6. BMT and NED would both then have a 1-5 Conference record but since BMT won the head to head they'd get the play off spot. So IDK if you are serious or not but that's whack if you are.
Thank you bobcat mom. So many people have something to say when they have no clue what they are talking about. I honestly dont understand why everyone tries so hard to bring Bmt B down. Constantly accusing them of wrong doings. Cruel world we live in. Poor kids, i feel sorry for the examples they are being shown by there parents and the world they will have to grow up in.
Not at all trying to 'bring Bmt B down'.  I genuinely think that it sounds like stacking to me.  We have 3 teams in Pee Wee too and all of our returners did not all go back to one team.  Guess it was a league decision.  Can't anyone on here ask a question without hurting Beaumont's feelings?  Come on' now!
Well then you seem to be breaking the rules according the STJFL Bylaws if your kids didn't return to their previous team. Why would they be moved to different teams and split up? How did you get away with that? ARTICLE XII: DRAFTING OF TEAMS SECTION 1: 1        Players shall return to the team from the previous season if they qualify for the same division. [Hidden Content]
NOPE!  Not breaking any rules.  Players return to the team they played on the year before..... purple, white, green, black, blue... whatever it was.  Everyone does not go to ONE team.
Read the rule......It's not that difficult to understand.... Png G last year was all 8 y o, because the coaches basically drafted all 7 y o the year before.  My boy was one of the kids drafted onto Png G last year, as a first year player at 8.  Png G coaches didn't break any rules drafting and neither is Bmt B.  That team was almost all 7 y o last year so all those kids go back to the same team.  Period.  That's the rule.  And another thing about Bmt B, no offense to WOS, but they were the second best team in the league last year.....To be honest, the Png G Bmt B game could have gone either way, it was back and forth all game.  Had we not stopped them on the last play of the game, Bmt B would have been defending champs coming into this year.  They were beating up on teams last year left and right, so it is no surprise they are doing it again this year.  With what I saw with my own eyes last year, I'm not surprised this team put up 75 pts in a game.  And all you parents berating these coaches for scoring that many points, give me a break.  If they put in 2nd and 3rd stringers in, and are still scoring at will, that's just the way it goes.  If it's my son in there that's finally getting his chance to run the ball, I can guarantee you it will not be for the purposes of simply being a tackling dummy until our 4 plays are up and turn the ball over..... just because the other team can't stop us.  Stop hating on this team.  They are the most talented team in the division. To be talking about anything else about this team is simply a waste of time.
You rock PNGFAN97! You totally understand the draft rules and you get the position BMT B is in. Thank you, sincerely thank you.
 16. That really makes me sad for you. I am so thankful my 8 year old son can't read the bashing his Pee Wee team gets on this board every week so to imagine that you are seeing it on Facebook and hearing it at your game really breaks my heart for you. Stay proud and try to let it roll off your back.
 17. That is very cool. It's nice to have some staples and traditions in life for high school kids, especially in our ever changing and fast paced world.
 18.
Thank you for confirming the "handpick" speculation.  "Same group together since flag with the same coach", that about sums it up.  When an expansion team is formed, you can only protect 33% (5 players) of the players on existing teams, the rest should have been available for drafting to the expansion team.  Coaches kids need to be in the 33% of the protected kids.  Read the rules and give up the name calling...
You are so dense... We have never had an expansion team. We had 2 teams last year and 2 teams this year so again the 13 that returned from last year all "return to the team from the previous season". You need to read the rules. The expansion rules do not apply since we did not have an expansion team. ARTICLE XII: DRAFTING OF TEAMS SECTION 1: 1        Players shall return to the team from the previous season if they qualify for the same division.
 19.

Believe me, my feeling are not hurt. The first part of my post was for you housemama. "not knowing what ur talking about". The other part was just a general statement for the pages upon pages of post about the Bmt B team.
No other league creates teams like Beaumont.  You know it's true.  I'm just glad that my child is not on the Bmt Gold team.  That must suck knowing that your kid was not even going to have a chance to be on a team with returners.  All newbies and not able to ever join in on a winning team that has been together since Flag.  Hey - Congrats for having such an awesome team. I am not taking that away from any of the BMT people.  I'm just stating the obvious.  No need for you to be rude Bmt Pride.
Talk to PNG-Gray... They are in the same position as BMT-Gold, a young team with very few returns, basically starting over. Last year PNG Gray won the Pee Wee Super Bowl. This year their record is 1-5 same as BMT-G. How did that happen? Well I could speculate but I won't since I don't know anything about PNG's teams. Things change from year to year and I bet PNG-Gray will be a great team next year. So saying you wouldn't want your kid on the BMT-Gold team is really crappy in my book. A team has to start somewhere and that team is learning and growing strong together so next year when the young ones "return to the team from the previous season" per STJFL Bylaws, they can be great.
 20. BMT does not have 3 Pee Wee teams, we have 2, just like we did last year so all boys returned to their previous team. There were only 54 kids signed up for Pee Wee so the teams were split 27 and 27. There was no need to expand. More facts. I'm not sure why I even bother to explain anything to all the know-it-alls on here anyway.  :o Were you at BMT's draft? No. Are you a Board Member for BMT or a parent of a BMT player? No. Are you an STJFL Board Member? No. Then you don't know anything about our draft or teams or why we have 2 or why these kids are on this team and not this one. So think before you accuse BMT of stacking.

 22. I'm not from PNG or Nederland. I'm born, raised, graduated in, and still live in Beaumont. When I was in High School, we played both PNG and Nederland and I remember there was a GIANT rivalry between the 2 schools. I was in the era beginning the West Brook and Central rivalry but as I recall it was nothing compared to the PNG and Nederland rivalry. Is this still that huge and going on still today? I don't keep up with high school that much now. I just remember it being monumental. Nothing as fun as Texas high school football rivalries.
 23.
Vidor Black 34 Ned Gold 7 Vidor White 34 BMT Blue 6
Congrats Vidor! Love the Vidor Black score, sad for my BMT Blue but Vidor White is amazingly great.
