  1. watched silsbee and hj play for the first time this past weekend was surprised with the size of silsbee but there guys played like they were bigger. what i see hurting both teams is free throws this point in the season i would hate to see a team lose out by not hitting free throws
  2. coldsprings won by about 20 onalaska playing 7 freshman on varsity turnovers hurt onalaska
  3. i am a lion fan but glad to see vidor go for the win last night. thats the way u need to go into the playoffs. trocket is right liv had the players to over come the injuries that happened this season. coach rowe has done a lot for liv football , liv was everyones homecoming before he took over but for liv to make the next step defense still needs lots of improvements and playcalling has to be better.3rd and 1 and u call a pass that kills a drive in a play off game? having to use timeouts because u cannot get plays in fast enough(not sure if this happened last night but seen it happen all year) .our spread offense we try running is a joke need to either throw it out or find someone to teach it to make it effective against good teams
  4. not taking anything away from vidor team but liv coach seems to be getting out coached again  close games tell alot about a coach and rowe doesnot coach good in these type of games
  5. liv also plays a couple of players both ways including their qb collins. collins looked a little banged up last week and didnot make his usual plays. i think there was 4 fumbles between him and center might been the cold weather but playing both ways all year might be catching up with him. if collins is not 100% percent  i do not see liv winning. if he is i think liv wins in a close game
  6. livingston coaches need to find away to change the pace of a game especially when teams r shutting down the run. liv is not a passing team but i think there r some things coaches can do to help this team that is really missing bull mays. i would like to see a hurry up or no huddle offense to help change the pace  of a close game. maybe even put #4 at qb and #14 at running back at certain times of the game
  7. at halftime of liv ozen game was thinking with size and speed ozen had they should be a lot better still thinking liv was going to win easily and then a different ozen team came out that second half and dominated liv. if ned gets that second half ozen team they better bring their a game or we might be talking about another ozen upset
  8. hate to hear this . took gang tackling to get this young man down. liv coaches going to have to come up with some ways to put some points on the board to try to help with this loss and their spread offense is not the answer. i know their offense is built for clock management but sometimes u need something to change the pace and try getting offense going --no huddle? look at game against ned when passing game killed some drives and neds defense wasnot giving up big plays.
  9. liv was beating lcm a few years ago 35-7 in 3rd quarter and lost. i did not think liv coach was trying to run up score but with the loss of bull mayes was putting running backs in different spots to see how they would play.first time i seen white#10 in mayes's spot. was impressed with how fast he hit holes but not sure because of his size can take a lot of big hits up the middle. i know a lot of things had to go right for lcm that night but they did  and they kept fighting and came away with a win
  10. imo bull would have made a difference last night but cannot say liv would have won. liv coach was out coached and this is what will hurt us in the playoffs. good thing about the net i was able to see ned play 3 games .each game i could see significant improvements and if they continue this nobody will want to see them in the playoffs
  11. better coaching ,better game plan, and players exacuting = district championship for bulldogs
  12. neds defense got lions coach shook up . ive seen liv run this spread and they should throw it out .ned came out ready to play and exacuted well on defense and a good second half by offense
  13. have to give neds defense a lot of credit for holding this offense down .even without bull this is a good offense. liv defense has also done a pretty good job for the positioning they have been put in
  14. think my 9 year old daughter could do a better job of calling plays than coach rowe. fake punt on 4th and 1 when u have a qb that can run like collins
  15. good coaching from ned pinning liv deep and defense forcing 3 and out
