1. Sound to me like you sipping on you GREEN KOOL=AID BrenhamFan.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D. Really who will give you all a close game in 17-4A, tell me and I'll be there. Brenham wins by as much as they want. :) :) :) :) :)
 2. OZEN 32 LCM 24 LCM gets a reality check :) :) :) :) :) :)
 3. Guess I'll have to pick Vidor since I picked them to barely come in 4th in district, but If they take Lumberton lightly, they might look back at this game as a reason for not making the playoff. Vidor by a little.
 4. Coldspring wins :) :) :) :) :)This one over before it starts!!! Coldspring's JV could win this one.
 5.
Livingston is a very good. They can be beat. We could have beat them, but we didn't play mistake free ball. They did, except for the personal fouls. Don't know what that was all about. I haven't followed Central, but will have to say that they will have to be on the top of they're game. As for as speed, that isn't what killed us this week or the in the previous games. It is called wrapping up and bringing down the runner. If Central can wrap up and hold on then they have a chance. "Bull" is a BIG runner. Jags are going to have to gang tackle. Livingston defense is better than what people think. Probably not the best in the district, but not bad. They have alot of speed. Good Luck Jags!!
You are right, we knew PNG could beat us, that why I'm glad we are past that game. The personal fouls was just that they were so pumped up for this game, they're not a dirty team, but they won't back down from anyone. I hated to see those fouls too, but the settled down after halftime. The only thing about stopping THE BULL is: if one don't get you the other ones will, and they have 4 more backs who could start on any team in 20=4A or 19-4A (believe me). And you are right their defense is better than a lot of people think, I knew the talent was their, I was concern if they would play the right player on defense. They still have a few options to make the defense stronger if they choose to. They probably not the best defense I agree.
 6.
Why do they call their Fullback "Bull" ???
Because that's the type of back he is, but what people don't realize is, he has the footwork and speed of a 180 pound back. :D :D :D :D :D
 7. BH wins this one by 2 touchdowns :) :) :) :)

Yeah, Crosby, BH, and Dayton have to stik together.  Lee and GCM geographically make sense too.  I think it makes more sense to move the Houston and Galena Park area teams over with the inner-city teams.  They could compete better there.  That being said, sur would love to see the following district formed: BH Dayton Crosby PNG Nederland Central Livingston
Now that would be fun. That would be the official "Hard Hat District". Where did Livingston come from? BH used to kill them when we were still 3A. They are sure bringing the hat now.
Livingston was too busy playing you have to play my son even if he can't play, for about 25 years, until Coach Randy Rowe came to town. All the good players refused to play football. Parents got tired of having their kid run the ball to the 5 yard line only to have the mayors son or some big roller's son run it in for the touchdown. Hope this town never has to go through that again.
 9.
Livingston is everything everyone says they are  i was not at the png game but from what i heard on the radio png hung with Livingston up to the fourth quarter and two turnovers caused the 14 point loss so im guessing that livingston is very beatable and central will be hungary after the loss to ozen (still shaking my head on that one ) if central plays a perfect game they will win by one td id not it will be a long night for the jags
So you are saying PNG is not a good team? You see your team more than I have and I'm convinced PNG is 20-4A #2 team. You don't think much of your team I guess. I'll tell you what is really going happen later on in the week to Central, but for right now, I'm gonna sit back an sip on my GREEN KOOL-AID and listen to everyone else. I love me some GREEN KOOL-AID.
I think the lions will go deep into the playoffs...they're a great team
Thanks, we think our team will go deep also (if) they remain focus and continue to get better each week, that is what coach Rowe is making them to  understand. The kids trust in him that if they work hard the best player will play, he's getting player to play who are good basketball player, baseball player and all other sports to tryout. Something the other coaches couldn't do.
 12.
Trocket - thanks for the good sportsmanship. This was a great game in a great atmosphere. I think I prefer watching a game at Livingston over just about anywhere. Such closeness to everything. I'm upset that we lost, but we lost the turnover battle and you cannot do that against a very good team. I was very impressed with the execution by Livingston. Our defense played pretty well, but you have to have a big strong defensive player that is able to bust up the wall that is coming at you. like one of the schexnider boys who just graduated. Also a stat that says a lot 0 punts. I'm proud of the PNG team for not quitting on either side of the ball. I think I was starting to get used to your announcer  ;D ;D  Hope you guys go deep in the playoffs, not sure how Division 1 or 2 stacks up, but I would love to see a rematch.
We will go Division 2 and you all Division 1, besides I would hate to see either team have to face each other in the playoffs. Let's just wait until next year, good luck to PNG.
I agree, but that was the best defensive line we have played against this year. 0 passing yards on only 1 attempt according to the stats for Livingston.  I guess if you are getting 7+ yards a carry you don't need a passing game.  It will be interesting to see if any defense in the district can slow their running game down.
The score doesn't tell the true story. By not going to their passing offense was only respect for this PNG team. They had to stay with their old stuff, because this team was dangerous. They will use their passing, when they do, it will be saying it's practice time for the playoffs. They can pass pretty decent, but it's still a working project for the playoffs. Any team they don't fear, they will come out passing. This PNG team is not a team you can play around with. :) :) :) :) :) :)
There was no reason for Livingston to pass. This year is not a typical defense for PNG. We have a good pass defense  and a run defense still making adjustments and struggling some . Last night , you have to give credit to Livingston's very good running game also. Livingston's coach did what I would have done . With that being said we are ahead of where we were last year at this time , and still managed to play longer than most of the teams that beat us early. This is a different district this year and every week will be a major battle for every team. I don't feel there are any gimme's for any team.
14. I believe I'll attend this game!! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

 16.
Congrats Livingston a a great win. Looks like you guys will contend for the district championsip this season best of luck the rest of the way!!!!
Thanks!! Best of luck to PNG!! :) :) :) :)
 17.
Anyone want this dang horse? I was told that it was a winner and now I find out it just  a regular old Bronco ;D ;D ;D
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I like that!!  :D :D :D :D :D
 18. AS I SAID!!! It want be as easy this year as Dayton thinks, the past is the past, now is now!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D
 19. From what I've heard Lumberton has a young team, if so, as I have said it will be tough for them this year because of the teams they are playing. But I'll go out on a limb and say, if the fans will support them and help the coach keep their heads up, they will make the playoffs next year. :) :) :) :) :)
 20.
#4 is Jayce Nelson. That kid has made some incredible catches. His hands are like a magnet for the football.
Well, I think Mr. Nelson will someday play some Sunday games if he avoid injuries, love to have on my team!!! :) :) :) :) :)
 21.

I tip my hat to PNG players they really played hard tonight. Also their coach out coached Livingston coach, who almost gave the game away, by taking Collins off of # 4 who he had shut down most of the night and putting # 15 on him. I called that TD before it happen. PNG has a very smart coach who saw it and took advantage of it, then caught the coaching staff of Livingston by surprise with the onside kick. Everyone in the stadium knew except Livingston coaches. With that kind of coaching and the way the players of PNG are playing hard every down, I still say they will make the playoffs. Teams had better bring their A game to bet this team. Without a doubt they w ere the best team we have played all year. Good Luck with the rest of your season PNG!! Hope we don't have to play you all again this year. :) :) :) :) :) :)
Yes number 14 had 4 locked down all night. When the touchdown was made he was double covered and just made a nice grab. How about we take that into consideratiom
The better team won tonight, but #14 didn't shut down #4. He had ANOTHER touchdown against #14 called back on a questionable holding call. Listening to the PA announcer was like watching an episode of the Reba show and I think Stevie Wonder was operating the game clock. BUT, like I said the better team won. Hopefully the Lions can develope a passing game before playoffs, they will need it come 2nd or 3rd.
Like you said the better team won, but like I said you should be proud of your team and coach. Get over it, and get ready for next week, you will still make the playoffs, because it ain;t over till it's over!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)
