As I said, I didn't know about this one. I really hate that I have so much insight about this team. And have to watch these kids play so hard and lose because the coaches are determine not to fix their problem on defense.  This team defense is playing 9 against 11 and it's a shame they have the players to fix it but for some reason the coaches refuse to do so. Even without fixing the problem they will win their next game, but Vidor will give them a beat down if they still refuse to fix the problem. Hat off to Ozen players and coaches, they worked on Livingston's weekness and got a well deserved victory.

I say for like the fourth time this week, Liberty Hill who runs the same offense that Livingston and Vidor does won not only one state championship but two in a row while running a slot t offense. And guess what. They didn't pass much either. [/quote] 3A football is different. Most of the star players in 3A are playing both ways and an offense like the Slot T will wear them down. Also 3A teams seldom have enough talent accross the board to shut down a good slot offense. 4A and up has the numbers to have a multitude of studs on both sides of the ball. Especially the farther you get in the playoffs. When was the last time a Slot T or one of the bone offenses won or even made it to a state title game in Texas at the 4A or 5A level? Everyone says Livingston can't throw the ball, I disagree, Of course they are not a throwing team, but if they pick the right time to throw they will always be successful in throwing. I like our everything about our coach except that he has not learn to control his ego yet and will just pass to prove he can pass. Which hurts his team,because he will not be satisfied with just moving the ball up the field until they prove they can stop him, and throw a pass to keep the other team honest every now and then. But to have control of a game and all of a sudden just start throwing doesn't make sense. Besides LaMarque is not all that this year.

You will be looking at a Livingston vs Brenham game for sure, even without The Bull. [/quote]Ask any fan from Dayton and they will tell you that Livingston is one of the toughest first  round match ups we dread every year. When we went to State in 08  Livingston was one of the best teams we tangled with besides Sulfer Springs  it was a shame we had to meet in the first round. Last year the BH coach said he was glad Dayton was playing the Lions and not his team in the first round. If we get to meet this year you can bet it will be intense . [/quote]Same with Livingston fans, guess we all feel the same, that's why I say if they move Livingston to the other side of Hwy 59 then it would be a great game for both teams in the preseason. Win or lose it would be great for both programs, because what wrong with having a lose as long as it's to a good team. There are many other teams in the SETX area that I hope we can continue to play in the future in preseason if we are moved next year. Tired of playing small schools and weak teams in preseason!! The people in this area don't mind playing schools who have good programs, because we no in order to be the best, you have to play the best.Now that the pollitics are no longer apart of our program, we feel we have a chance to win against good teams. Wish we didn't have to play you all in the first round either, but we can still enough the game and wish the winner good luck. ;D ;D ;D

I really feel bad for you all, because you feel you have to win every year and never rebuild. Dayton nor Livingston has reach that point in their programs yet!! As to respecting Dayton program, you've earned that, but come on give your coaches and players a break, neither of us have the numbers to reload every year. This is your down year, and I'd rather not kick a man when he's down. I get more pleasure playing a team on the rise than one that is wounded. Good luck to Dayton and hope we don't have to play you, but if we do, that's what it will be. As I said if they don't win this game I will be disappointed, because your program is not bad it's just going thru some changes.
