  11. For those that don't already know, today is a crucial day on the Texas Sports Landscape. Not only because games having playoff implications will be played tonight, but that this is the day commonly known as "Snapshot Day." This is the day that all school districts from around the State of Texas turn their enrollment figures into the UIL for purposes of next February's realignment. We commonly keep track of those here and we will continue that tradition today. I am currently in the process of contacting school districts to see what enrollment figures so that I can post them here. If you know the OFFICIAL number that a local district turns in, please post it here. Please post those numbers only as this is a thread for information and not comment. Because of that and because I am still in a slow burn because of the PN-G/Central game thread from last night, please know that comment posts WILL BE DELETED. Thank you.
  12. Updated with results from 10/26/17 games
  13. I'm pretty sure that he will be in PN-G purple next year. As intelligent as he is, he would have to have taken courses through the summer of every year to have enough credits to graduate in May. Chances are good that he will graduate next December, though and will be a early admit to UT. It will be of benefit so that by the time he hits the field at UT, Ehlinger will be a junior and with a redshirt if he progresses enough, he could be seeing significant time by the start of his sophomore year there.
  14. SFA85 is gone. So is PNGFan. LET ME MAKE THIS PERFECTLY CLEAR! If you wish to comment on face, we have a forum down stairs called the Politcal Forum. There are a bevy of folks down there pro and con that are more than ready to debate or support your views, whatever they may be. HOWEVER, THERE WILL BE NO RACIAL COMMENTS OR RACE BAITING on any of the sports forums. Those that wish to do so WILL BE GONE! THIS AIN'T THE NFL AND I AM SURE AS HELL NOT ROGER GOODELL. You want to get racial on THIS forum, YOU WILL POST HERE NO MORE!!!! ARE THERE ANY QUESTIONS!!! And if you wish to question, you had better be careful......I AM NOT IN A GOOD MOOD!
  15. To those who followed this thread to follow a football game and got treated to both racial and race baiting comments for the second week in a row, on behlaf of SETXsports, I apologize. I was tempted to set out a warning post after last week's game but I thought that some would be able to better contain themselves. I guess I was wrong and I happened to be out of pocket as I was taking my wife to dinner for her birthday, so I am just catching up now. But I can do something about it now to see that the chances of this happening again are remote. The Warden is pissed and some folks will be sent to hole!
  16. I'll leave several so that you can choose which "area" team was the last in the State Finals aside from Newton and WO-S: 2008 - Dayton (4A, DII Finalist) 2004 - Jasper (3A, DII Finalist) 2003 - San Augustine (2A, DI State Champ) 2002 - Corrigan-Camden (2A, DI Finalist) 2001 - Burkeville (1A State Champ) 2000 Burkeville (1A Finalist) 1999 - Port Neches-Groves (4A, DII Finalist)
