I just got to the Hamshire-Fannett football preview questionnaire answers, which was submitted before Coach Rideaux took the job in Aldine, in preparation of the 2021 football season. When I saw a particular name in the assistant coaches section of that questionnaire, I thought of this topic, particularly given the criticism of Coach Kenebrew as a "football hire." Curiosity got the best of me, so I went into our archives section and sought out the previews I had prepared for the 2019 and 2020 Longhorns as well as the 2019 and 2020 Crosby Cougars. I again found that interesting name that was in the Hamshire-Fannett previews and, by happenstance, found a name absent from the Crosby previews.
