[/quote] Solely?  Absolutely not.  In fact the post which prompted the locking of that thread came from a Crosby poster who use inappropriate racial language.  I would, hoever, note that his remarks were directed at a Vidorian who told the world that he "had his sour pucker." I don't recall the name of that Vidorian, but I remember it being someone close to you. Truth is that there were many transgressions on the thread by many different camps.  It is just that the Vidor camp seems to be the only one who claims clean hands.

For the FIRST TIME EVER I had to lock a game update thread while the game was still being played.  It was suggested that such off topic remarks which caused the closure of the thread were as a result of my not setting proper parameters on the game update threads. This thread is meant to remedy that situation.  After this thread is posted it will be locked as the text contained herein is not up for discussion and is not up for negotiation. First game threads, generally do up about an hour or so before the scheduled kickoff and/or broadcast time.  [b]From the time that the thread is posted until the scheduled kickoff, any and all comments normally allowed under forum rules will be allowed in the game update threads. Once kickoff has occurred, the thread will be closed until halftime for all comments other than updates regarding the progress of the game.  For purposes of this forum, update is defined as the following and must contain ONLY the following in the thread: 1)  A post indicating who will receive the opening kickoff; 2)  Posting of the progress of a drive of the team which has the ball, also referred to as play by play; 3)  Posting a comment ABOUT A SPECIFC OFFICIAL'S CALL or A SPECIFIC COACHING DECISION; 4)  Posting the score of a game, time left in the quarter or game or method of scoring.
