Not going to happen. School districts have restrictions on how much they can reveal on disciplinary matters. How restrictive may vary from school district to school district, but they all have restrictions. And not meaning to further add to the confusion as to what sanction, if any has been handed down, but I just got off of the phone with a source I deem to be extremely credible on the matter who said that two Cardinal players have been suspended from the team for the remainder of the season.

I don't know about the final outcome as it seems to be quite an exercise in speculation going on as to who or how many have received punishment as well as the length of his/their sentence(s) despite assurances that the ones making such speculation are "in the know.". But early this morning, I had been advised that the person who sent the message to the Mustang player was also facing some sort of sanction. Did that actually happen? Your guess is as good as mine.

It certainly doesn't meet my definition of "severe" as Mr. DNC wished us to believe.

And what is changed by this REVELATION!? Absolutely nothing! The meme whether in group message, twitter, facebook, snap chat, morse code, land line telephone or smoke signal, it was done. And how it made it's way into the public domain is OF ABSOLUTELY NO RELEVANCE! It was done and found to be so egregious that both the BC AD and the Super (in different released statements) offered apologies. The manner in which the item made its way to the public obviously matters to you, but it certainly doesn't to me!

This appears to be no different that the reaction of the DNC when Wikileaks outed the rigging of the Democrat convention and my answer to this is my answer to that......I don't care how it was revealed, the act should not have taken place.

I understand what you are saying, but a couple of things. First, I don't care if it was done by group message, twitter, facebook, snapchat, morse code or freaking smoke signal for that matter...it was done and done intentionally and stiff sanction should follow. Second, I follow most, if not all, of the twitter accounts of the current Mustangs (INCLUDING the young man who was the target of that hateful meme) and I have seen NOTHING that comes anywhere near close to what was said in that message even after the meme was revealed, although the newest Enterprise yellow dog journalist, David Thompson, claims otherwise.

Yeah, but the JV game wouldn't be for a few hours, right?

If this game were to be cancelled on that basis, that BCISD is concerned about their players' safety, I for one would find that just as offensive as the post that caused this mess. WO-S players, upset as they may be, are fully able to control their emotions on the football field and the WO-S coaches are fully capable of controlling the Mustangs. They have that sort of discipline, discipline that if one or more of the Cardinal players would have possessed, we wouldn't be discussing this situation right now!
