Both K-Ville and Diboll are quality teams - I just think Diboll played better - gonna admit I would love to watch a game between them. If they meet in the play-offs count me in. I am going to attend the K-Ville - WOS game will be a great contest - on of the best in the area.

The order of finish will be Coldspring Splendora Cleveland Tarkington Liberty Shepherd Tarkington lost 2 decent players and if they are not replaced Liberty might move up a spot. Coldspring is the class of this district - Splendora is the best coached - and Cleveland always fields an athletic team. Liberty has talent but needs a leader to step forward and take control - like the coach personally but he is not a BB coach. And Johnny Ringo - Liberty has 3 wins agianst 21AAA during the last 2 years by itself and they have not been that good - BC last year and BC and OF the year before - I also know of at least 2 playoff wins in 22AAA vs 21AAA. Catfever - what Liberty team did you watch - in the BC Tournament they were 2 - 1. Lost by 9 to OF and beat the other 2 teams by 20 each - don't sound that bad to me.

Good News - Hardin is for Real ;D

After watching both K-Ville and Diboll in back to back weeks vs. Liberty Diboll is I believe the better team. Diboll is Big and quick - gonna be tough to handle all year. K-Ville had a very good RB but # 20 for Diboll was just smooth and fun to watch.

Ok K-Ville, No doubt history is on your side and you are the favorites to win this game. But if you come in with the attitude that these post show - way over confident - Liberty has a team that can BEAT YOU.

Man I don't understand why everybody is (1) giving Cleveland any respect and (2) totally counting out Splendora. Finish will be: Coldspring - Good and big with quality defense and RB Liberty - Playing good as the young team from last year improved May well beat Coldsprings Splendora - Still gonna be tough in this district Shepherd - not playing terrible Cleveland - 1 or 2 years away from district champs - then watch out Tarkington - Just plain bad. Mark it down.

I am not a WOS fan - I greatly respect the team but only been to 1 game. But to question a OC after 1 loss with a relatively young team is uncalled for. WOS fans - you have a good thing going but now you expect - NO demand to win every game. This is High School football you will not win them all. Normally the coaches know what their players are best at and what will work - if it does not it is easy to question from the stands or the press box. No way to prove the 2nd guessers wrong. WOS is a power in the local football sceen and that does not appear to be going anyplace soon. But that is a credit to the players and Coaches that have gotten them there. If you have something that works and has a proven history - then let the coaches do their job. 8)

No Doubt that Splendora has not played up to expectations - but don't count them out this year just yet. They still have several returning players and a good returning RB. They just need to get their act together. I think this is the week they do: Splendora - 35 Orangefield - 30

Yes Liberty Stafford games for the last several years have been very close - don't see this year being any different. Liberty - 20 Stafford - 16 Good Luck Panthers

From a long time Liberty supproter who keep track of the Dayton Broncos. They will win the district and if WOS does not upset them they may well go 10 - 0. They should also go deeper in the playoffs this year as well. They lost Mike Dugat who was a great running back - but if I heard right - his brother (his replacement) will be a better running back then he was.

Pantherplaya - Brooks is not the "great" player that the Tarkington fans think he is - but hes not that bad either. One of his problems is he has absolutely no supporting cast. We will see - I think they will pull in out over Hardin as Hardin is 1 - 2 years aways from being a real competitive team. If we were talking next year I would say that Hardin will Prob win. But last year record speaks for itself and they don't have the bodies to replace who they lost last year. In talking to their new coach he will make the most of what he has but he is only 4- 5 real players deep this year. My prediction is still Tarkington in a close game.

East Chambers had better not take Shepherd lightly. Last year they had a bad year but several of their upper classman quit and the varsity was full of Freshman and Sophmores. They all got a year of experience - and they have team speed. Might be a lot closer than last years record would indicate. East Chambers should win but it will be closer than expected.

Tarkington has had a bad run and Brooks is a decent QB but not as good as the people in Tarkington thinks he is. Hardin will be better an Tarkington barely beat them last year 20 - 12. Will be a close game but Tarkington will pull it out.

This is always a good game - but this year Liberty wins 26 - 21. Dishon single handedly won the game last year - I hear the new BC QB is not bad but I don't think he can replace Dishon. Liberty avenges loss from last year by 5.

Hardin is goning to be better but Tarkington wins this one by 7. But if they play agian next year Tarkington better watch out.

All I have heard about Coach Haynes is good - however, you still have to have 11 players on O and D. From what I hear Hardin has 5 - 6 quality players this year and then a big drop off. But, the coaches say the outlook is good from the lower classes. So give Coach Haynes 2 years - then watch out.

Dayton is gonna be better than most people think - Dayton by 7.

I hesitate to post on this subject - I know Coach Slack and he has coached my son 1 year over the past 4 years. Prediction: 1 - he will be the best thing to happen to HD in the recent past; or 2 - he will be the worst thing to happen to HD in the recent past. Jury is still out. ;D

Have to Laugh - got a negitive Karma for saying that cussing a player is wrong and not needed. I disagree that most Coaches cuss - I know some that do and many more that don't. I still do not think you have to cuss to show intensity or to correct a player that has done something wrong and is not performing at the required level. There are good and bad coaches on both sides of this (cussing and not cussing). I will continue to say that if you want the best from you players that one of the factors is to show them respect (Now let me state that players have to earn that respect from thier coaches by what they do on and off the field) - and cussing anyone is a sign of disrespect.

My sister teaches at Cy Fair and says not only is this kid a great athlete but is also a great kid - No problems. Wish Texas A&M could have keep him.

Josh White - Liberty Has been a starting LB since he was a Soph. - never been set loose as a RB since the 8th grade. Watch out - could easily break 1500 yeads rushing. The Kid has size speed and ability to break tackles. Last year was playing equal to the stating TB till 4th game of the season and he was the district offensive MVP.
