  1. I agree. It will probably be by committee. #9 did the best tonite with his carries.
  2. Wos returned opening kickoff back for TD. Wos offense never got anything going & when they did penalties killed them. Wos front 7 on defense looked good secondary got beat on a few plays & missed some tackles. Nederland offense looked decent had a couple 50/50 pass plays that fusilier won & he broke loose on a behind the line of scrimmage pass for about 50 for 1st Ned TD. Ned other TD was set up by a Fusilier int, after pick Ned perfectly executed a backwards pass to WR Kendrick who then hit rb #9 dragging across the middle behind the whole Wos defense for the TD. Wos had a pick 6 right as the bad weather hit, but flag was thrown early on Ned sideline, I saw Wos db grab Fusilier jersey & throw him down, which probably was the call taking the 6 points off the board.
  3. Game called with Ned leading 14-6 with a minute & some change left in the 3rd quarter.
  4. Big Chuck Langston was an intense, hardcore, tough,no bull**t player, If he coaches the same as he played & the players are all in with his style I expect West Brook to be very good on both sides of the ball.
  5. PA21 Ned-7 Final Both teams agreed not to play last 4 min.
  6. #16 has legit qb skills, very strong arm & solid accuracy. Would not be a bad choice to start him IMO.
  7. PA db #12 picks off 2nd Ned Qb #5 at the PA 30 yard line. PA-21 Ned-7 8 minutes left in the game Both teams subbing a lot of players in now Not many starters playing now on both sides.
  8. PA-21 Ned-7 after 3 quarters Ned has the ball at their 38 yard line 2nd down & 6 to start the 4th
  9. PA-21 Ned-7 1:31 left in the 3rd quarter PA scores on a 35 yard td pass play on a 5 yard slant route on 4th & 3 to #5 from #16,Ned had him tackled for a 6 yd gain but he broke away & out ran the defense to the endzone
  10. No catches. A few tackles at Bandit\outside linebacker. Is not playing in the 2nd half
  11. PA-14 Ned-7. PA scores on a 5 yd qb keeper around right end by 2nd qb #16. 70 yard drive mix of runs by qb #16 & rb #8 & mid range pass completions. 1 big pass play of 40 yards to the Ned 5 yd line to wr #14
  12. I believe he is in now #16. Made sum nice runs & has completed a few short/mid range passes. Looks more accurate & stronger arm. #8 is in at rb for PA about 5’8” & stocky is very quick & elusive. PA driving to start 2nd half at Ned 30 with 7:25 left in 3rd
  13. Not sure the names but they have tried 3 different guys
  14. PA-7 Ned-7 at halftime
  15. I agree 100%
  16. PA-7 Ned-7 1:50 left in the 2nd quarter Ned scores on wr bubble screen pass from the 10yd line. 80 yd drive mix of short passes that wr’s turned into long gains.
  17. PA-7 Ned-0 4:09 left in 2nd quarter PA completes a couple 10 yarders then a 35 yd pass down to Ned 10yd. line, #5 runs it in from the 1 on 4th down.
  18. 0-0 after 1st quarter Nederland throws interception on their 1st drive. Only play working is 5 wide & qb scramble for positive yards.Ned offense has no positive yards from running backs. Ned defensive front 7 doing well. Secondary gave up 1 deep completion. PA fumbles handoff exchange on Ned 1yd line. PA offense struggling to get any run game established, a few short completions & 1 long completion. PA QB is not live so no threat of him running. PA defense looks solid overall.
  19. Nederland has 4/5 starters returning for 2021 OFFENSE The Bulldogs will have a relatively young squad as only 4 starters return to the multiple set offense in 2021. The backfield should see some new faces as senior Luke Broussard currently has the lead in the quarterback battle and will be joined by senior Ethan Fobbs. The Bulldog receiver corp has a solid foundation to build around as senior wide receiver Kyndon Fuselier (12-5A-II District MVP, Honorable Mention TSWA All-State) returns. The skills group will be operating behind a veteran offensive line lead by seniors Mike Marshall (1st team all-district) and Holder Craver (2nd team all-district) as well as junior lineman Jack Bieber. DEFENSE Five starters return to the Nederland 4-2-5 defense in 2021. The front line will be formed around junior Landon Caywood (2nd team all-district in 2021) and senior Jacob Kotz and will feature the return of senior lineman Gabe Lopez from injury in 2020. Senior inside linebacker Jaice Beck (1st team all-district) will head a linebacker crew which will also feature outside linebacker Kaydon Gonzales. Senior cornerback Steven Bourgeois (1st team all-district in 2021) will lead a secondary which will also feature Fuselier.
