Dark horse no doubt. I believe Montgomery will be in the playoffs and they can certainly upset the Top 3. I’m sure they can’t wait to get a shot at Lake Creek next week. Those two teams usually play crazy games against each other.

Yea, I wonder who drew up the schedule. Crazy that PNG starts with the Top 2 contestants. You would think there would be a few lambs to slaughter before the big fights begin.

The coach said that Texas High was the most hostile. I didn’t hear anything that sounded over confident. He knows PNG will be loud and he felt that his team can block out the noise. The interviewer was the one that stated PNG plays their best in the 1st half and LC plays better late. Basically, PNG comes out of the gate and executes, so if you make mistakes early, you’re going to be behind. I think it will be a great game. I’ll say PNG gets the win but I won’t be surprised if LC can pull the upset.

Newton should get the win here. Anderson is a playoff team but probably 3rd place in this district.

Brenham is a good team. They also have a dang good Soph RB just like Randle.

Randle’s district mate Huntsville took them out in Round 3 last year. I don’t know who can take them out this year. Maybe Liberty Hill or Brenham, but I think Randle has a good shot and winning Region 3.

In 2009, they beat Bridge City in 1st round and then lost in OT to Caldwell in Round 2. But I can’t remember any serious playoff runs in the last 50 years.

Well, if Texas Football thinks that Crosby wins that district, and Laporte finishes 5th, then I’ll say this shouldn’t be close.

That Iowa Colony defense is really good also. Don’t see them having issues with Crosby either. I expect a similar score to the Stafford game. It’s a tough non district road for the Coogs, but it will get them ready.

I think LC has plenty coming back. 14 starters and most of their skill kids. The QB and the bowling ball RB are D1 commits and are two of the best in the District.
