I would say the Pirates defense. Held Lumberton to just 50 yards in the second half, 26 on the ground after Lumberton had over 200 yards in the first half. Shut em out after first half including several sacks and an INT

Not that it really matters(except for me ;D) but the series is 13-2 with the last Silsbee win in 1998, first round of the playoffs. This is the only time Silsbee and WOS has met in the playoffs, so Silsbee is undefeated against the Stangs in the playoffs. ;D My apologies to Tigers nation

You think Im leaving before I get to talk to Jeff after a win or leave that buffet they serve me in the press box?

I dont mind a little showmanship, a lot of teams and a lot of players do it at every level. He was never pushing anyone after runs or throwing the ball down or things of that nature. Now at the end w/e he did to get thrown out is uncalled for but unharmful showmanship is done in almost every game. Its become a part of sports, just keep it in good nature.

I said this to a Lumberton coach after the game, I dont agree with whatever he did but it is understandable he was frustrated. He ran his tail off tonight and was very, very impressive. He is not scared to take on a hit. He was very upset on the field after the game and Vidor's Jeff Mathews went to him and said words into his ear while Hanna was kneeled down. Everyone, EVERYONE, makes mistakes in frustration. Lumberton is a respectable team and Im sure Hanna is just the same. He did all he could to help his team win a football game and when it came time to realize his hard work would be for a loss, the worst came out. It happens to even the best of people.

Yes he was not kicked out, I was down on sidelines. There was another roughing passer not given because WOS had a penalty at the same time so the penalties off-set. I told Q. Garrett at one point to not let them bother him and just to give the point to the scoreboard next time they threw in an extra shot. Mustangs showed some pretty good restraint of their own. There were a couple times a WOS player acted a little out of line but I really cant blame them a bit but it was never anything terrible. Mustangs can be proud of that.
