This race has been great so far and the rest of the way should be very exciting. Silsbee has a great, great team. They can jump to the rafters. H-F looked tough today and is also a very good team. Has talent to fight for district title. OF needs to step up after those two losses last week. Must beat teams they are supposed to beat, cant get upset. BC is looking for overall consistency. The talent and coaching is there. HJ havent seen them but can play with anyone. WOS from what I know has improved this year.

I have talked to Matt more times than I can count and I promise you he is the most unselfish athlete I have ever seen. This was not an easy decision and comparing him to A-Rod is absurd. A-Rod got paid $250 million to leave, Hicks is one of many people in BC just trying to pick up their lives the best they know how. This is what their family thinks is best for his future.

I usually talk to Matt on a weekly basis and I understand the move completely for one reason, its his decision to make. We all make decisions to trying something different in thought we might better ourselves. Every employee in any line of work looks for a chance to improve. Sure, why not trade him if the right deal comes around?? Two Grade A pitchers and a prospect INF for Berkman and somone else would be a great deal. I would trade Berkman if and only if the right deal comes along. If Babe Ruth can be traded, Lance Berkman can be. As for as this season, why couldnt the Astros contend? Its not like the NL Central was some beast of a division. The Astros blew it on games against the Pirates and teams of that caliber, losing when they should not be. Swept by the Pirates right after beating the Red Sox if I remember right. Why not expect more out of a team with BERKMAN, Lee, Tejada, Matsui, Pence and Bourne? That is a pretty darn good lineup and the pitching was not too shabby this year just underperformed at times, ie Backe. If you dont expect the best out of your team, why pull for them? If that was the case, Id go live in Pittsburgh during baseball season. Sorry for always expecting the best out of the teams I root for no matter what the case is.
