These are the Region III teams currently in the top 25 of the 4A TABC state polls: #1 Fort Bend Marshall #9 Houston Wheatley #10 Beaumont Central #16 Brazosport #17 Georgetown #24 Friendswood #25 Nederland By just taking those teams in consideration, I think Central has a good shot of repping Region III in Austin.

Big game in Sour Lake Friday night as West Orange-Stark comes to town to take on Hardin-Jefferson. A lot riding on this game in regards to playoff seed. WO-S defeated HJ 45-43 the first time around and will try to get a season sweep to stay in that 2nd place spot. HJ needs the win to draw even with the Mustangs and keep their hopes alive of a district championship. Remember, 2nd place in 21-3A goes to the upper bracket while 3rd place goes to the bottom half of playoff bracket. Who takes this crucial game and why?
